DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! They are a scam......... I purchased a warranty in January of 2021 and paid in full for the policy, big mistake. Once they get your money, you won't be able to get in touch with anyone in the claims department. Phone just rings and rings, then hangs up on you. My vehicle has been in the shop for more than 6 months and no resolution in sight. Forget about a rental car, they don't honor that part of the policy. Patriot Warranty required that my engine be taken apart, AT MY EXPENSE, in order to determine if the repair is covered under the warranty. My out-of-pocket expense so far is $4,000 and I have been without my car for over 6 months. Keep in mind that they required me to spend out of my pocket, $4,000 up front, in order for them to decide if they will honor their policy. I was told that Patriot Warranty was waiting for the inspector to inspect my vehicle at the shop. Funny thing is that the inspector was out at the shop weeks ago and took photos. At this time, Patriot Warranty is claiming that they are waiting for the inspection. So, I am getting the run around. Every time I call the company, the hold time is at least an hour and then the call disconnects. The only time Patriot Warranty answers their phones is for sales calls. If you call the claims department, no one answers the phone. STAY TUNED FOR THE OUTCOME. I predict that after all this time and the $4,000 I have spent out of pocket; Patriot Warranty will deny the claim and force me to sue them. Run run run away from patriot warranty! This is a complete and utter scam!!! They are nice and responsive when they are selling you the warranty, but NEVER answer their phones once you've bought! My son's car has been in the dealer's shop for an a/c compressor since July 13. It took forever to reach them (multiple days, on hold for 30+ minutes each time, and even the dealer couldn't get through) we found out they need to send an "inspector" to confirm the problem. On July 20, they approved the claim. Here's what the really means: (1) They don't authorize an original equipment replacement, no, they MAIL an aftermarket part to the dealer. Yep, a third party aftermarket part. (2) They don't pay the full hourly labor cost. They pay $125/hr, which doesn't cover the full cost. (3) They don't pay to flush the system, even tho there were metal shavings in the line and flushing is standard procedure for any compressor replacement. So they are basically ensuring that it will fail again in the future. (4) That rental car you think you'll get? NOPE. Not while you're waiting for their diagnosis, not while you're waiting for them to MAIL the part. So they approved the part on Tuesday and it's now FRIDAY and it's still not here. They've tried to cancel my policy twice now for failure to provide maintenance records that I've provided. When I call, I get a different person with a different reason for the cancellation every single time. I'm on hold right now and the reason? Because they don't have access to the maintenance records from before I bought the car and the warranty through them... Before that, it was because there were 6 days between when a separate issue was diagnosed and when the shop submitted their approval request FOR THAT ISSUE (an air compressor), which was approved for like $250, and is completely separate from the new issue (bent pushrod). Before that, it was because they haven't received the service records we've sent and verbally confirmed receipt of 3 separate times. Read all of the other recent reviews. SCAM We paid over $ 1700 for an "extended warranty" for our car. They include $ 100 coverages for oil changes and tire damage. They paid the $ 100 for the oil change within a few weeks of my submitting the invoices with only a few needed by me. When we had a tire failure in the first year I sent them the claim info, including pictures and the tire dealers invoice and inspection report. They asked for more info and I provided it. This claim is for about $ 60. After several weeks of not hearing from them I started calling and emailing. At first I reached a couple of people and was told "the claim had just been approved", "the check would go out shortly", "probably next week", etc. Then they stopped returning call or answering my email. The only phone line that they answered is the "sales" line trying to hook new suckers and they get very snotty and rude if you call them for a service or claim related matter!. It has been over six months now and no check for the tire failure. Can you imagine what the likelihood of their paying a $ 5,000 or even $ 500 mechanical claim would be if the won't (can't) pay a stinking $ 60? This company is NOT backed by any Insurance Company or any outside party. Their fancy pages is all BS. Don't go near them. I have filed a complaint with the South Dakota Attorney General Division of Consumer Protection who tells me they have a list of people that have had problems with them and that SD is just a rented "forwarding office" for their undisclosed location. I recently left my BMW at the dealership after purchasing the warranty Premier Elite 36,000 miles which covers suspension and axles under the warranty coverage. The labor rate that is listed on my contract is up to 200.00 per hour. I was advised by my service advisor that the warranty company that I have is not good.
