They will hand…read moreyou a unit full of mess and damage, promise to clean and fix it, NOT fix or clean it, then attempt to charge you for damage when you move out. We leased a unit with BROKEN WINDOWS on move in. They promised to fix it on move in and then refused to for our entire 24 month lease. The back door was broken and SNOW ENTERED THE UNIT in the winter but they refused to believe us and fix the problem despite photo evidence. Their pipes broke during a routine shower causing water damage. After fixing the pipe and having a contractor confess that the pipes were at fault, they threatened to sue, despite the tenants being found innocent. They never fixed the water damage in the ceiling which festered for more than 18 months. They did not inspect the outside of the house on our move in tour, then threatened to sue us for damage to the outside of the house that we could prove with photos that we did not cause. After move out they waited several months to inform us we were being charged for garbage removal in a side alley despite the alley being given to us in significantly worse condition. Their contractors are rude and will yell at the tenants, and the administrators do not care for anything except your money. They exist solely to extort money from students who do not have time to participate in legal action. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Panadew does not deserve to exist as a company, and their employees deserve to feel horrible about their business practices. I would give lower than one star if I could.

DO NOT RENT FROM SHAWNA! She will do everything she can to squeeze every last cent out of you…read more She'll purposefully fix broken taps with broken materials just so you'll have to pay to get it fixed again. She will make up issues like "chips in the paint on the outside of the house" and then charge several hundred dollars claiming the whole house needs a new paint job. She'll try and evict you even though your rent is only two days late. I have never dealt with such a terrible landlord, please beware. She is the definition of a slumlord.

We have rats in the building and although given poison we now have the stench of dead animals coming through our walls. Our garbage disposal units were covered in a snow bank for multiple months. Once bi law came around and served them with not giving us proper garbage and recycling units, they finally gave them to us. For less than 24hrs later taking all recycling bins away saying another building needed them without any indication of when they were to be returned. They also can't conduct basic administrative tasks properly as I was told I needed to hunt down the previous owner to get my rent receipts. They are known for giving out residents personal information to local business's to be cold called to fix building issues that should be done by Axon, not the residents who live here. If you request too many maintence forms, they block you from the website. If your thinking to move to a unit that is maintained by this management group, I'd rethink your decision and go with another building.

I must say that I have been renting property from various landlords for about 6 years and I have never had a worse experience. The staff who work for the company are terrible, from the President, Jay Abramsky, the leasing coordinator, Lynn McCue, to even the people who answer the phones in there office. I once called in to ask about a problem and was hung up on because the person on the other end of the phone call was noticeably frustrated. Never have I heard of a company, that is supposed to make its tenants feel safe and at home, be so rude to its customers. What ever happened to good/quality customer service. I should also make note that when a place is being showed you shouldn't lie to a customer. When I viewed a unit certain appliances were pointed out and I was told that they were "up to date" however it looked as though they were used and disregarded for some extended period of time. I would have rather you said you didn't know how old something was... This is just a WARNING for those who are considering renting a place from Keystone Property Management. They WILL NOT HELP YOU once you've rented. THEY JUST WANT YOUR MONEY.

Doing laundry felt like I was scratching a lotto ticket... Also they tell you lies when you're looking for apartments. I was thinking of renting another place and they told me laundry would be free. When I went there it was another coin laundry machine and the person showing the place said that the tenants get their money back. I then called Arnie and asked why we didn't get free laundry and he then told me that laundry costs for the other place...despite telling me otherwise in the beginning.

This has a serious impact on people who are under pressure to qualify for jobs later in life, but need the better grades to attract the attention of grad schools, honors lists and employers. I have seen some terrible living conditions in the student ghetto of Kingston, and the people living in them were not even economically disadvantaged. Even today, there is simply not enough high quality homes for rent in Kingston. Varsity Properties takes yesterdays' low quality homes, puts money, thought and renovation effort into them, and makes places that people can be proud to say they rent there. The only negative thing I can say about this firm is that Varsity should be twice the size, as there is still more demand than supply for high quality rentals in Kingston.
