The scariest part of moving (for me at least) is finding someone that can cut my hair without screwing it up, or costing me a fortune. BOOM! Winner on my first try here! Pat's is definitely the barber shop I grew up going to with my grandpa. It smells like a barber shop, it looks like a barber shop, and the barbers are actual barbers (even the female barber). Super comfortable chairs to start off with. They still use the tissue paper around your neck to keep the bits of hair out of your shirt. Another plus is the compressed air, and powdered brush to get away the last bits of hair. Overall this was a great experience! read more

I love Pat, but like Kaitlyn has to be the worst one there to cut hair. I've been there a few times and whenever I get my hair done by her it's the most tragic thing that I could do to myself. Don't get me wrong Pat is an amazing barber and I would recommend him to anyone. But if you are going to go to Pat's, make sure anyone but Kaitlyn is cutting your hair. read more

In town for a wedding. Asked a local cigar shop if he could recommend a good barber. He said go around the corner and there's a old school barber shop, can't miss it. The guy looked like he knew what he was talkin about so I walked over. As I turned the corner my eyes could immediately see the barber poles. (A barber's pole is a type of sign used by barbers to signify the place or shop where they perform their craft.) this was a good sign. No pun intended. As I was about to open the door a customer came out looking fresh. Things where looking good. I walked in and was met by a friendly face, the shop owner Pat. Great guy, very friendly. I explained my situation that I just got into town and would be meeting the in-laws in a few hours and needed to look sharp. Understanding fully he gave me one heck of a great cut. Plus free friendly conversation and a very special gift that he hand made. It's these kinds of situations that make me still believe in humanity. Thank you Pat and his hospitality. 5 star. read more

He is 21 months old and has never before sat by himself for a haircut. We usually have to wrestle with him on my lap, but she soothed him. She introduced herself and talked him through the process.
