These folks tried to charge me without quoting me first. I had my car towed to their shop, and…read moreasked them to look at it. Without calling me, they went ahead and fixed the problem (which was minor). However, mechanics are suppose to call first with an estimate for the cost of labor and parts, as well as to gain permission from the customer to authorize the repairs. As it turned out, they did not call me to let me know that they planned on working on it. Their excuse was that they had to perform some initial work in order to figure out the problem. An honest mechanic would call first and quote a labor rate if they knew that some initial work would be needed to diagnose the mechanical issue. In this case, the fix would have been easy enough for me to complete at home, with wire cutters, and a socket wrench. Thus, given the choice of having it repaired at the shop, or taking the car back to my home, I would have done the latter-- but I was not given the choice. I was very disappointed with the underhanded way handled me as a customer. I suppose it's difficult sometimes to find an honest mechanic that will not try to take advantage of a customer. When the mechanic began to get angry that I disagreed with his lack of communication regarding the cost of repairs, he began cursing and raising his voice at me, and despite me offering to pay him the full amount for his service! This is not what I call welcoming service, and the mechanic did not demonstrate a shred of patience. I do not recommend this place to anybody, avoid it, and go for a place that is upfront and polite.

Spoke with a very helpful individual named Adam. I got his info as to where to have AAA tow our car to. Adam had someone stay until 9:00 pm to take our car in. I called Adam the following morning to see what the diagnosis was and what it would cost to repair. Unfortunately after 240,000 miles the engine gave out. They charged me over $3,600 to tow my truck less than a mile, which is outrageously overpriced. After doing some research, I found that other companies would have charged less than $1,000 for the same service. Also I believe my truck was never towed so there's an ongoing investigation because we believe it actually got driven to their yard and just keep saying we have proof it didn't but they don't prove it so they are definitely bluffing. The computer of the truck will indicate if it got driven or not so it's at the dealership as we speak. When I tried to resolve this issue by speaking to the owner, Thomas Mullan, I was completely ignored. The staff refused to connect me with him or even discuss the matter. It was clear they had no intention of resolving my concerns or explaining why the charge was so exorbitant. This company clearly lacks business ethics and operates without any sense of fairness or customer service. Rawlins said to hire one from Laramie since our granddaughter was broke down going towards Loveland CO. The quote to Laramie was half the cost of others, and then we changed delivery to Loveland and the quote was reasonable and what others quoted to deliver to Laramie.
