Pat ( I think that's his name) is Master fixer upper to anything lawnmower related. His workshop is kinda of small, but it gets the job done. He brought our beast back to life in a couple of days. We dropped our blower off on a Saturday. It was done by Wednesday. He was able to diagnose and fix everything at a very good price. He even replaced our torn strap with a brand spanking new set of straps that were better than the orginal set.. His shop is located off Katella Ave near Jazz Autobody. Parking is a little tight. My old lawnmower finally called it quits. I was looking for a new one but couldn't find what I wanted. I decided to take it to Pats. I took it on Monday and he said it would be ready on Wednesday. It needed new filters , a couple of other parts and an ignition cable and blades sharpened. He's such a great guy. So nice and knowledgeable. He called me on Tuesday and said it was ready. Wow so quick. He loaded it in my car for me and away we went. So today it started with the first pull. Soo excited. I'd recommend Pats to anyone who needs help with their lawnmower. read more

Pat is 1) The nicest man and 2) A genius regarding mower repair! Before I left our expensive lawnmower, Pat took the time to demonstrate to me that the electrical was working fine by hooking up a mechanism that showed this to be true. So, right off the bat he was demonstrating that he wouldn't go down that path (ie wouldn't lie to me about what the issue was). His prices were reasonable, his work ethic extremely obvious and he repaired our mower in a very reasonable amount of time, especially considering all the work I saw he had to do! He also helped me load and tie the mower into my trunk. Again, a nice guy (he apologized for his English - he spoke it perfectly fine!!). Please patronize this shop. You'll get your mower fixed but more importantly, you'll support a small business run by a kind and caring individual! read more

In Pat I trust! My friend's lawnmower didn't start, and after some troubleshooting, I noticed that the throttle cable was not engaging the throttle to allow fuel for the motor to run. So off to Yelp I went looking for a repair man. I went to Pat's since it's the closes repair shop, and upon arrival, I was greeted by a nice man (Pat himself). I showed him the problem, which he agreed to fix it, and suggested that I replace the filter, which was full of dirt, and sharpen the blade, which was duller than a butter knife. Pat gave me a quote, and I left the mower in Pat's trust. I picked up the following morning, and one yank of the starter cable, the motor revved and it's sounding very smooth with its new filter. It's also now cutting grass more evenly and cleanly slicing the grass with the sharpened blade. My observation while I was at Pat's: This shop is right on Katella, a few hundred yards after Dale. There are a few old mowers in front of the shop to advertise that it's a lawn mower business. There are a few parking stalls in front, but if you can't find any, there is a big lot behind the suite that Pat's shop reside on. Inside the shop is what one would expect from a repair shop: parts, mowers, tools, equipment, etc. I noticed that he's very organize since my friend's mower was neatly stack parked along with other repaired mowers on one side of his shop. I also noticed that he has a lot of repeat customers since I heard him greeting a newly arrived customer by his name, and also by him saying " long time no see" to another customer. I am glad that I found Pat. Although I might not see him until the next time I come across a broken mower, I now have a trustworthy mower repair man. This guy is the Mr Miyagi of small motor repair! He's fantastic!!! My power washer hadn't started in two years. I tried everything. I took it in to Pat's and he had it running better than new in less than 24 hours. All the other shops wanted a week to fix it, and they were more expensive. Pat also had all the old parts in a bag to show me everything he had to replace. Don't waste your time, or your money on anyone else. If you have a problem with your power washer, or your lawnmower take it to Pat's!!! read more

Had an unexpected issue with a not-so-old lawnmower and Pat's has been in the area for years. Have never had to take a lawnmower in for repair, but the occasion came up and I this was the only place I knew that did lawnmowers. I brought it in and Pat quickly looked over my mower, free of charge. He did a spark plug test and right away knew it instead was a fuel issue. Right up front he gave the cost and when he'd have it done by. My mower was finished a whole day early and they gave me a courtesy call. They helped me initially unload and load my mower back into my vehicle. Not a bad price for repairing the carburetor (under a hundred dollars), and he also included sharpening the mower blades. Upon dropping off and picking up my mower-- I could see this place got a lot of business-- especially by professional landscapers who brought their mowers and edgers in for servicing. Excellent and prompt service. Issued a 30 day warranty on his work. Highly recommend. read more
