This place has a website. Its usefulness is about zero unless I was doing something wrong. What I heard about it that made me come here is that they might have some random finds that you are not going to get at a Total Wine & More that make it worthwhile. Coming in here, I found that to be true, so that alone made me happy. As for what was available at Total Wine and here I was doing some price comparison, and the results I saw were mixed. So, not horrible on that front. Service? Well, that was largely inattentive behavior behind the counter. The ambiance? Well, I think I just made my last visit to this store. I stopped in last night to pick up some more of that Rebel Bourbon and there was a discrepancy with pricing again. I brought the 80 & 100 proof Rebel Bourbon to the counter to check out. The 100 proof is ringing up over $29 (before tax) and the 80 proof is ringing up over $32 (before tax); however, the tag on the shelf shows $21.99 for the 100 proof bottle and $29.99 for the 80 proof bottle. The clerk would not honor the shelf price which I explained to him was False Advertisement. Unfortunately I am not the only one having issues at this store. You can check for yourself on Google to see the many other complaints describing this same scenario. On my previous visit, they ran my card before I caught them because they we're installing a new system. This time around I could see my total price before paying. This store does have a lot of great liquor options; regardless, the cost here is much higher than just about anywhere else in Sanford. I ended up grabbing the smaller bottle of Evan Williams Fire which came to just over $18 when I could have gotten the same bottle at ABC for just over $15 or switched up and got a 1.75 liter of Fire Ball at Legacy Liquors for $19. All in all, if You do decide to shop here know that you will pay more and there's a good chance just about everything that you pick out on the shelf will not match the price when you pay at the counter so be sure to have the clerk show you the price on their computer before paying otherwise you may end up paying much more. read more

First time at this location and I was very impressed! I attended the bourbon madness event which was free if you registered and the vendors were friendly and offered a great variety. The store is amazing! Whatever liquor or beer you are wanting you will definitely find it here. The store is well stocked and the owners at staff are super friendly. They even offered free food at this event, pulled chicken pork and beef soft tacos . I will definitely go there for all of my alcohol purchases and recommended to every friend and family member. Parking lot is available for easy access. They even have a drive-through! Definitely hit up Pat's for your next party or to stock up your bar at home. I look forward to the next event! read more

This place is way over priced. They do have a good selections that a lot of that you can find up the road for cheaper. We can't hear to get a bottle of liquor and it rang up Higher at the checkout. We showed the guy the label And it showed a cheaper price. He would not honor the label. So he just lost my business forever. I would suggest going somewhere else. If you look at the reviews on google, they have been Overcharging people for years. Hey, do you have a nice selection? And you'll find stuff that maybe you won't find other places. Going to just be honest here - this place is over priced. A lot of better options in the same area or even near it that are worth the 15 minute drive. The drive thru window option was great and the staff are pretty friendly but until they're able to bring those prices down, you're better off just getting your stuff from total wine or even Costco. I get their allocated stuff needs to be priced at secondary bordering tertiary market, but these places shouldn't be where you're looking for allocated at SRP, so I won't really come at them for that, but the pricing issue I have a problem with is if I can get a common bottle for $10 cheaper, that's widely available mind you, then this place may disappoint you. read more

How have I not written a review yet?! I LOVE Pats! I used to drive up to Lake Mary to ABC, so I was extremely excited for Sanford to get a clean, friendly liquor store. With a HUGE selection I must add, tons of products I've never seen elsewhere. Always friendly staff, the owner is there often and extremely helpful. I love and hate this store. I love that they've got a (theoretically) great beer selection AND a massive walk-in cooler (if only every beer store was as dedicated to the cold as this one!). In fact, I've seen some bottles here that not even ABC or Total Wine carry. That being said, I think the store would be better considered a beer museum. Seems like 95% of the stock is ANCIENT. I've never seen so many old, dusty bottles in one place (well, maybe at Kenny's). It's clear that most of their beer sales are coming from fizzy yellow macros, malt liquors and FMBs (which is normal for most liquor stores). But if you're going to have this big of a craft beer selection, you can't be having IPAs that went out of code during the Bush administration on your shelf at full price (or at all, for that matter). I saw a six-pack of Cooper's Australian Sparkling Ale that was bottled in 2007 and was riddled with mold! WTF!? Prices seem higher than what you'd pay at ABC or Total Wine for common stuff. Sure, they've got a lot of high ABV, rare releases like Founders CBS, Funky Buddha's wacky releases, and pretty much everything from The Bruery. BUT, since the stuff is so old there's no way those prices can be justified. Technically, they do let you mix-a-six, which is nice, but they don't have any six-pack carriers like at ABC or TW. So if you want some 12oz singles you'll have to grab a sixer off one of the shelves and use it. But then again, most of the 12oz bottles are ancient, so good luck trying to find six fresh bottles and/or cans to fill that sixer. What makes it worse is that they don't give you a discount on the mix-a-six either (this is standard operating procedure at almost every bottle shop - why not here?). I don't expect to shop at Pat's in the future, and I don't suggest that you do either. After I found a rare bottle of rye (Thomas Handy) on the shelf in the rye section, staff refused to sell it to me. Supposedly it was placed there by accident and was to be raffled off. This was poor customer service at best and a dubious explanation at worst. I follow Pat's on social media and email and am aware of no raffle. Staff should have the store in order, and missteps should be in the customer's favor. Instead, I left very disappointed. read more

So much potential! My last visit was my last. Prices are high compared to department stores even. I rarely see sales on anything good. Cashiers are average.. Drive through has no awning so you'll get soaked if it's raining. I almost always trip over chunks of vinyl floor tiles that have come loose lol That's actually really comical to me. I can deal with anything if it's a decent product at a decent price. I almost stopped going after a few initial visits, I live right around the corner. But once I found 12 packs of red stripe for $11, I was happy to buy there. Even still bought some over priced items. The red stripe didn't last long. They only carry 6 for +$9 now. Worst store we have ever shopped at. The staff is extremely rude and not at all helpful!!! I would highly recommend that whoever owns this store seriously think about hiring a complete new staff because the ones they have there now are the worst!!! We would highly recommend you stay as far away from this store as possible unless you enjoy being belittled and treated with rude behavior and the worst customer service ever! Wish I could give a review of zero. Went through the drive-thru to get some wine. NO acknowledgment for 10 minutes! There were 2 guys behind the counter. 1 was eating and on his phone! I understand if you're busy but give us a "hello," maybe a wave, or even 1 finger up to signify to "give me a minute." But NOTHING!! Finally KJ acknowledged us.
