I never had an issue with my C-sec, and still recovering from my D&C, no problem so far and he is on top of my recovery. I was cared for from beginning till end of my pregnancies. He responded immediately every time me and my husband would call him, this was very helpful and made us appreciate how caring of a doctor he is. I didn't mind at first since I was so anxious to see my baby for the first time. My suggestion is to call at exactly 9am when they open. And be the first one on the list. You have to call the day of your appointment to get your name on the list. Once you know your number, remember Dr. P likes to make sure he takes his time with each patient and make sure they leave his office feeling great. I get on the table, and with such ease he took all of my worries, scares, fear all away with One single sentence. "This is your pregnancy and your baby. You tell me if you want a pain free delivery and I can make that happen." Okay. I'm lying this wasn't his exact words per say but this was i understand and exactly that happen. He said I'll deliver June 1st 2018 I went into labor at exactly 12:30am and I delivered her the next day. No pain! Yes, you heard that correct. No pain. As soon as the contractions got to the point I couldn't take it. I asked for the epidural at 10pm and by 10:30pm I was asleep and only reason why I woke up was because the nurse came in to check the baby's heart beat because it was dropping. She said it could only mean 2 things. (1) I was already 10 cm ready to push or (2) I don't remember what else she said because by the time we trying to tell the second option. She yelled 10cm ready to push Mama let me call Dr. Pickett he will be here shortly I was waken up at 6:49am and at 7:29am she was born. 3 pushes and she was here. Less than 5 min. Dr. Pickett guided me on exactly how to push because I couldn't feel anything from my waist down because of the epidural. Honestly it was…read morethe best thing I could've done, it was a long process to get into his care only because I was under a different IPA but Lizette was such a big help when it came to me asking questions. She is so kind, understanding and communicative. Overall Dr.Pickett is such an amazing Doctor and I couldn't have felt more comfortable, cared for and at peace than with him. He listens to you, response as possible as he can thru his email, he understands you and let's you speak he's just a very very very great doctor not once has he ever made me feel uncomfortable. I gave birth at California Hospital and that's a whole different story, I had my water partially broken and they confused it with discharged and sent me home 2 days before giving birth to my baby girl..But my birth experience was great with him, he explained everything to me and my partner before operating me and still checked up on me and my partner after my emergency C-Section. He's a truly caring person/doctor and I honestly can't say anything else but how great he is and I would definitely recommend him to anyone who's expecting and wants a good OB. After we finished the paperwork we were told she will not see us and we need to reschedule. The receptionist kept telling us that we should have come at 3:45 to fill out paperwork and neither the receptionist and the doctor were flexible or understanding at all. We said that we will be gone for vacation for three weeks and asked if she can see us despite our late arrival due to reason beyond our control but they were adamant and cold toward us. Finally we gave up and asked them to provide us a doctor note for the hr office but they said since we missed the appt they wouldn't give us a formal doctor note! We had to be insistent and finally got some sort of form. Overall we're really disappointed with this medical group and particularly this doctor for being so distant, mean, and rude (by kept telling us we should have come in at 3:45 even though appt is at 4!). If this is the kind of attitude and treatment this doctor and medical group give to new patient then we will make sure that we will never pick anyone from this group and this doctor! This is not what a personalized attention and care any doctor or receptionist should provide and we were very shocked at the attitude and coldness that we were treated.

Dr. Yang referred me to go get a breast exam to make sure it wasn't anything serious. During the appointment we started talking casually and I started asking questions about a pap smear. Dr. Yang was genuinely concerned about my situation after asking more questions about my previous history. Originally she was not able to give me an exam the same day but she was able to squeeze it in after. I'm so thankful she did. She also set up an appointment to get an ultrasound to make sure everything was okay. It turned out it wasn't. Right away she worked up a game plan and got everything taken care of (too long to explain). She very straight to the point and takes her time explaining things. She also great with responding back to emails and making personal calls to check up. I highly recommend Dr. Yang. Don't second guess. I have referred Dr.Yang to all my clients. I found out I was pregnant when I was 12 weeks along and my obstetrician sent me to the USC Perinatal group for my first trimester screening, which needed to be done ASAP since I was already at the end of my first trimester. Dr. Lee was very patient during my first trimester screening. My baby was not in the prime position for the needed measurements for certain tests. He spent over twenty minutes trying to get my baby in the right position but was not able to (not his fault). He told me to come back after lunch and hope that my baby was in the right position. He took me immediately after I walked in the door and low and behold the baby was in the right position. He took his measurements and printed out some awesome 3-D sonogram pictures for me. His patience really went a long way with me. He really made me feel as though I was important and not a member of the pregnancy herd.

The caller announced without any consideration for the extremely long time spent anticipating my appointment, what I am and have been physically experiencing to rudely try to give me my only two options; I cut her rude butt off and I let the caller know that what she was saying was ridiculous and that I could not talk to her because I was in the middle of something. (on top of that I was quite upset and try my best to be mindful of my thoughts not instantly producing nasty words!) So, I waited until the next morning to email my response: Greetings, I received a call yesterday afternoon saying that you are no longer accepting new patients. That's understandable, but the fact that I had to wait weeks to see my doctor, requested a referral and the time to wait for the approval was lengthy. I received a nice sized packet from your office and filled it out; taking extra care to list the diary of my symptoms. It can be off putting having a male doctor but he wasn't creepy in anyway and didn't make any of those weird corny doctor jokes that tends to happen sometimes. He told me that they were here for me and answered ALL the questions I had. My procedure went great, I asked to be put to sleep and I don't remember a thing! 20/10! Definitely a great place to go!
