Her office, though, is very, very challenging to work with. That said (and maybe sadly), it started getting a little easier to work with them once the $300 office fee started getting charged and patients started leaving. Still, they were very challenging and often lacked compassion for other women I saw who were struggling with very serious issues. But in any event, almost all OB back offices suck, so you might as well go with Dr. Barnes. She is the absolute best.

Waiting is about average based on what time you make your appointments. I like mornings when possible. My first appointment was with the female NP, she did my ultrasound for 2 minutes & told me she didn't see a baby in the sac and rescheduled me for another appointment in 2 weeks. Mind you, there ultrasound machine is so OLD & prints out black pictures. The very next week, I go to a totally different clinic with a state of the art ultrasound. The midwife at that clinic took her time and did my ultrasound for 20 mins. She found 2 sacs, one with a baby & one without. I go back to Beverly Care and they have me see Dr.Lee since the female is not available. Dr.Lee is condescending & rude. He didn't take his time with the ultrasound, he didn't look for a second sac. He just told me it's only one baby and printed me out a super black picture. He even had the nerve to joke and ask me & my boyfriend have we made a decision on keeping our baby & it was not in a sincere genuine way. We obviously are keeping our baby or else we wouldnt be there, we would be at Planned Parenthood. I'm switching doctors as soon as I can.

Lisa Chang is the worst of the worst doctors I have ever had. She lied, cheated and forced me into…read morean unnecessary C section only for her own convenience and serious infection to be hospitalized. On the first day I was in hospital for scheduled induction, she had 24-hour duty, went home to sleep and didnt return till i was into 37 hours on Pitocin. She poked my water without my permission, and caused me infection and my baby heart rate dropped into dangerous situations where I could only accept C section. She scolded me not to cry before entering the operation room, not worthy of crying?! while my life and my baby's life were in her hands. Only for a couple hundred dollars more, she wants a surgery instead of natural birth. For an insurance covered procedure, she lied to me its cosmetic, I paid her cash and extra. Later, both Blue Shield and Optum confirmed she never billed. After I asked my money back, she claimed through insurance. Don't even think twice, go find another doctor.

She listens to your concerns, is extremely knowledgeable and has amazing bedside manner. Let's face it, no one jumps for joy over the idea of getting a pap - and some of us have had downright traumatic experiences in the past - but with Dr. Chang you can rest assured that it will be a breeze! It was over before I even knew it and it didn't even feel the least bit uncomfortable. She will also perform an ultrasound to ensure that your ovaries and uterus are structurally sound and there's no underlying issues which is a nice touch, especially since you don't need to schedule another visit solely for this as it's done in office by Dr.Chang herself! I'm so glad to have found her - a good OBGYN that makes you feel safe and comfortable is so hard to find these days but Dr. Chang is proof that they still exist!

I had a consultation the first visit. The second visit, I had an Endometrial Biopsy procedure performed, and it was one of the most traumatizing experiences I have ever had. I do have a high tolerance for pain. But, during this procedure, I cried so hard and kept saying "ouch". I heard Dr. Guzman tell the two young ladies that were shadowing him "It doesn't hurt that bad". He totally dismissed the pain I was going through as if he's had this procedure done himself and knows what it feels like. My mistake was hugging his a** right after because of the trauma. I did go back a third time to hear my results. But I AM NEVER GOING BACK!! Side note, you will be waiting for a couple of hours to be seen because I believe he overbooks himself. Quantity, Not Quality. Another side note, don't be fooled by the name. No female doctors work there. Just the assistants are female.

I had a rough pregnancy and ended up having a c-section. Dr.Leong always made me feel at ease, but knowing she was performing my c-section procedure I was a lot less freaked out. I have pretty severe anxiety and I never feel stressed going or leaving the office after seeing Dr. Leong. I owe a lot to Dr.Leong, because she made my pregnancy tolerable and my delivery a pleasant experience. We just adore her and I will never go anywhere else!
