I couldn't understand how they could offer virtual consultations if they didn't know how to set them up? Then she kept telling me that there was a "girl" who sets them up. Clearly there were language barriers. I was emailed from an undetermined email a number of days later, with no heading from the email, no practice insignia, address and not even the person who emailed me signed. She asked me if I was still interested in the consultation and said yes. I was told I would be sent a zoom link the DAY of my appointment in the afternoon. I was also told that even though the appt is made at 5:30pm the doctor may not show up a tithe time and he might be late. The day of my appointment I received a TEXT with another person's name confirming the appointment. I texted them back letting them know it was the wrong person. The person who texted apologized, misspelled my name, and had spelling mistakes in the text. She then told me I would receive a zoom link later on. This is starting to sound like a horror story. Then I get texted saying that the doctor wants ME to email HIM with a zoom link. What kind of practice/doctor would ask a patient to email them a zoom link for a virtual consultation? This is of course contradictory to what I was told would be done. What a complete joke. I cancelled my appointment as if they can't even get a simple consultation right, who knows what kind of results can be obtained from a surgical procedure. No thanks. The woman who texted me told me how they were "too busy" to set up virtual consultations. What a joke. Clearly not up to medical and adequate surgical standards in my opinion. As a physician myself, your staff can make or break you. While I have never met the physician himself nor do I know what his abilities are, his staff is clearly an atrocity. I found this spa on Groupon offering a Labor Day promotion for a micro-needling treatment. The standard Groupon price was listed at $85, but with the active holiday promo code, it dropped to $59.59. Before booking, I called the business directly at (847) 271-4206 to confirm. I spoke with a manager, explained the promotion, and she explicitly instructed me NOT to buy the voucher through Groupon. Instead, she stated they would honor the $59.59 price directly if I took a screenshot of the deal, showed it at check-in, and paid them directly. Trusting her word, I drove 15 miles to my appointment. During the check-in process, I showed the front desk administrator the screenshot. The administrator completely refused it and insisted on charging $85, claiming the lower amount was just a temporary promo. When I explained that the manager had guaranteed the $59.59 holiday price over the phone, they made me wait while they called the manager to the front desk. The exact manager I had spoken to came out and completely denied the conversation. She lied about our agreement, used a highly dismissive tone, and actively bullied and intimidated me in front of her two employees. They gave me an appointment the same day (4pm) as I had a growth that's been bothering me on my head and a large skin tag on my left side hip area. To my surprise they removed the growth on my head (cherry anginoma ) and the skin tag on my back. The skin tag on my back wasn't covered by my insurance and I was charged $99 to remove it cause it was considered cosmetic but the one on my head was covered. I couldn't believe how simple it was and pain free. Several days later the removal on my back looked infected to my wife and I stopped over and was instantly seen and they did a culture. Luckily the culture came back negative for infection and I'm now fully healed. I recommend this facility and will definitely return if I need anything else.
