I've been a pretty consistent client here since my first visit in 2021 when I went in because I wanted to try the 'lip flip'. Dr. George walked in, all grace and beauty, and gave me a very honest description of the procedure giving me the positives and negatives, and told me that most people either love it or hate it. I hated it :) Anyway, she was also gently but brutally honest about everything else going on with my face. Too many years around the sun and too much sun in general. She gave me multiple versions of how to work on the problems, most expensive to least. I opted for the least expensive fixes for a while. As my years around the sun progressed, I decided it was time to get serious about improving my skin. Which is when Anxhelina entered the picture. So, Anxhelina has that flawless porcelain skin that we all strive for and she does not gatekeep. She calls it like she sees it and will give you all the tips on how to get results. We started with IPL. My first IPLs hurt like hell but were high effective. Went back for follow up IPL and disaster struck. I ended up with stripes. Not a good look. It was horrifying, but between Anxhelina and Dr. George, they strategized a plan and gradually fixed the problem. No charge to me. After that experience, I mentioned that I really wanted to shift over to the Moxi laser, which is different than IPL, but I couldn't find a local practitioner who offered it. A month or so later -- boom! They had it. It is amazing, by the way. Worth every penny. It was around this time that I realized I had found my people. And that's my general feeling about AW Medspa. These are my people. They get me. They understand what I'm trying to accomplish, and they are here for it. Of course there are always times when I don't have the cash flow for something, but I never get any pressure or condemnation from them. They have a tiered membership program that offers different discounts which is really helpful if you're looking for multiple procedures, or are in that place where you're getting serious about combatting sun damage and wrinkles. I'm typically visiting the office once every 4-6 weeks getting a facial or Moxi, and all told, I'm sure my face looks so much better than it would have had I not gone for that first lip flip. I've been with them thru 3 locations (this new one is lovely) and these are the people I trust with my face. They're honest and they know their stuff. Give them a try. You won't be sorry. read more

GREEDY!!! Dr. George does not care about patients at all - only money. She has no loyalty whatsoever - not even patients that have been seeing her for years. BEWARE!!! She will charge you for 100 units of botox and act like she's doing you a "favor" but in reality she's only giving you like 60 or 70 if you're lucky. ALWAYS ask to see the syringe before she makes thousands of dollars disappear in seconds. Also... she will lie about pricing. Before treatment it's x amount of dollars - and then oops it's going to be double that during payment because she either is unable to do simple math or does this on purpose to bait her customers into expensive treatments. That's right - she treats everybody like customers NOT patients. One last thing... she was unwilling to fill out a form so I can get reimbursed by my insurance. Huge red flag. read more

First time Botox and had 2 bruises one right under my eye. Then they had an open house and offered 30 units of Botox with 10 free for 397.50 as a "special". I schedule appt and go for Botox in different area. The Dr. says ohhhh you should try micro-Botox and I ask how much she states same price as regular so I agree only to find out all "40" units were supposedly used on me when I check out. The idea was to have 2 visits/areas for the $397.50, not having it wasted on 1 visit to bank roll their new office!!!!! read more

This was my second visit. I normally get 30 units of Dysport however after a consultation the Dr George she never mentioned anything about the units she was recommending this time. We talked about filers, lip injections and other procedures she recommended. which by the way made me feel awful about my self since I didn't ask about any of that. She proceeded to do the injections. Everything seemed normal to me until I went to pay and they total me it was over $600!!! She went from 30 units to 150 with no mention to me. I went in with a budget for $140, $3.99 a unit was what I was quoted. Plus now my eyes are are almost closed and I cannot put mascara on. This experience is frightening. She'll throw advice and costs in the thousands while advertising $3.99 a unit and leave paying over $600. read more

I am 46 years old with some sun damage, adult acne, and typical aging issues. I chose the Laser Genesis treatment. There was NO discomfort and NO downtime. Sections of my face felt warm during the treatment, but this was not painful. POST-TREATMENT: my skin was smoother, my freckles/sun damage was lighter, and fine lines were much improved. DO NOT GET A MASSAGE THERE. My understanding is when you get a massage, you go there to feel calm, at ease. & let me tell you my Overall experience was definitely a 1 Star. First of all, the room was in the back which I thought was ok since you wanted a quiet place but it WASNT. I could hear everyone laughing, talking. It seemed like someone next door was putting up shelves or something, making a lot of noice. The bed had a paper draped on it which mad a lot of noice when you move side to side or when they move your head etc. The music in room was nice but had a lot of commercials. The best part is that it was my first time ever getting a massage and I did not enjoy it at all. I was it relaxed because of all the noice. Definitely won't be going back for another massage. My experience at Advance Wellness was awesome. Right when I got to the spa, I was welcomed by the spa coordinator and then introduced to Shari. She introduced herself and led me to the treatment room. She made me feel at ease, asked me if I wanted some water or if I wanted to go to the restroom prior to starting. Being 84 years old, I appreciated that she asked me these questions. During my treatment, Shari made sure I was comfortable on the treatment table, put. an extra pillow under my knees as I had issues on my left knee where I could not bend. During my treatment, she continued asking me how I was doing and I really enjoyed my treatment. I have to say that of all the facials I have done, this was the best facial treatment I ever had. I strongly DO NOT recommend this place. I went in trusting them to do what was right for me. I wasn't very knowledgeable about botox or dysport. They were running a special, but didn't tell me I needed more than the offer was. So I went with their recommendation to do dysport. Cost me "2" specials. They lead me to believe they backed up their work. And told me to come back in 2 weeks with any concerns. When the 2 weeks were up I did go in because the left corner over my eye clearly did not take. She injected more dysport and then charged me more money. Didn't tell me ahead of time it would cost more.That's not what I call backing up your work. They told me also it was supposed to last upwards of 3 months. Mine lasted exactly one month. And they blamed it on the fact that I take too many hot yoga classes and exercise too much therefor excessive sweating made it go away faster. I have never heard a bigger line of bullcrap. Not very happy after this visit at all. I went in after purchasing 50 units of Dysport on Groupon. The Groupon was NOT very clear. It's should have stated the the units had to be used on ONE area only and cannot be split in different areas. Many other Groupon spa places state that upfront! Also that your forehead and area between the eyebrows are two separate areas. I knew the crows feet area obviously is different. So I picked to do my forehead. I was pretty nervous because I thought that was a lot of units for my the TOP of my forehead, but I did it anyways. When I asked about doing the area between my eye brows, she said it's an extra $250. Which really threw me off cause I didn't know what that exactly meant.... is that for the Dysport units too? Or an additional fee? apparently the $250 is for another 50 units. Again, this is all still new to me, and I just didn't know. I wasn't too comfortable having 100 units all in what I would call my forehead area! It just seemed like so much. I had NO problem at all buying additional units, but wasn't comfortable with that many. Saying that she just does the math in her head and talks money didn't sit well with me. My whole goal was to feel good and after leaving there I did not! I would have spent the extra money for some more units in a few different areas. And on top of that, the doctor was 45 minutes late. So I felt rushed when she was in the room. Sorry but will not be returning! Please update and be clear with your Groupon. And maybe explain to your patient's a little better moving forward. I had a purse full of cash I was willing to drop, but you didn't give me the confidence to do so. I'm still sitting here while writing this review nervous about that many units just on the top of my forehead!
