I first started seeing Dr. Leib with high blood pressure, cholesterol and BMI. Over the course of time, with his care, my blood pressure, cholesterol and weight have been drastically improved. Dr. Leib takes the time to learn about his patients and use his expertise to support patient health. His medical advice is consistent with his understanding of the patient, and it's never about "just take a pill and it will all be better". Recently, my wife and I were experienced a significant health incident. We both truly appreciate the time and care he provided us following the accident. It's rare that a doctor takes the time with patients to do as thorough an examination as he did. Without hesitation, I believe that Dr. Leib is outstanding; his focus on complete health and quality of life has profoundly impacted my overall health and wellness. Dr. Houlahan went above and beyond for me during a broken ankle that required extensive surgery. I had a hard time getting public health services at home with the orthopedic surgeon. The room where I waited was clean and organized, and they had some calming music playing which helped a bit. The assistant asked some questions and wrote down the responses while explaining a couple of things to expect. They seemed attentive and aware of what was going on around them. The doctor came in and had a calm tone which made it easier to explain things. We talked about a few recent changes I've been feeling and they made a few notes while asking clarifying questions. They didn't seem in a rush and actually waited for my full answer before speaking again. They shared some insights and what might be affecting my situation. I liked that they didn't claim to have all the answers right away and left room for follow up. It was a solid experience and the people working there gave off a respectful attitude without being too formal.

When warranted he refers his patients to specialists who have more expertise in the required field. He has been very supportive, caring and assesses both the patient's physical and emotional criteria without being intrusive. I had earlier seen a GP and nothing came of it save a referral to Dr. Blakeslee. I was actually very distraught by my condition as I thought it was degenerative bone disease or osteo-arthritis or a lack of cartilage, something that would severely limit my active life. After an examination and review of x-rays and review of my gait, Dr. Blakeslee told me the ankle joints were healthy and my problem was due to flat feet and a falling arch. The cure, shoe inserts and special flip flops, no surgery, no prescriptions, no end of my active life. The Doctor then provided me with a list of providers of the said inserts and flip flops of which I purchased. Three weeks later, the pain is gone and I am back to normal for the first time in ages!
