Searched for the closest person in Charlottetown and got this group. We asked for a notary public and the friendly staff got Graham Stewart. He took us into his office and, for half an hour, went over all the forms with us and notarized them. We talked about the island a bit, then at the end he didn't even charge us for his service. Find better representation than this firm. They are all about the billable hours and could care…read moreless about their clients. The associate I dealt with should go back to law school. She didn't understand the most basic of law and how to apply/interpret it. She couldn't comprehend anything I was saying and then sent me an outrageous bill. PEI is a small place but there is MUCH better representation from other law firms. Don't waste your hard earned $$$ on this firm. They are just a terrible law firm and the associate I dealt with should go back for retraining... How she ever passed the bar, I will never know.

Go with someone else - I was recommended to them to be my lawyers for closing on a house - they…read morewouldn't return phone calls, hit reply on emails, then apparently fired someone which meant I still wasn't getting called and when I chased them down, that fired person was thrown under the bus but I had to basically re-do everything again with someone equally inattentive. If you want to be ignored, ghosted, and give the same answer 4-5 times with zero remorse or empathy from their end - this is your law office. If you want actual human interaction, attentive service, and know that everything is being done on time and accurately - go somewhere else. Here's hoping everything is done correctly in a couple days when I close...... Should have trusted my gut a month ago and switched lawyers then.
