He took us into his office and, for half an hour, went over all the forms with us and notarized them. We talked about the island a bit, then at the end he didn't even charge us for his service. In the beginning he seemed competent and capable of bringing my case to trial. it didn't take long to realize his only objective was to submit billed hours for both himself and a paralegal for similar work. Requests for copies of work that were billed to me went unanswered. After several thousands of dollars of billed hours I fired Ryan Moss. I have obtained new counsel and not surprisingly my case is moving forward. It is my opinion that that with regards to this lawyer " it is a buyer beware ". Watch your billed hours , request to be cc'd on work he performs , and have a paper trail. I was with this firm for several years under another associate with no issues. However I would not recommend Ryan Moss for any type of work .

That being said, I am sadly disappointed. I filed a formal complaint back in 2016 regarding my lawyer at the time having taken on my partners ex wife and not honoring my request to discontinue advising her as there were certain issues regarding his representation of both parties. He responded and of course denied everything and I was then told by the law society that my only recourse was to sue the lawyer personally. Needless to say I am very disappointed at the lack of support in such an obvious case of conflict of interest . We would like to think that the Law Society is there to uphold legal and appropriate representation and intercede when unethical legal practices occur but not so!!!!
