Terrible experience. I wanted two locks on my house re-keyed. It took the tech over 4 hours, and he never even finished the job. I ended up asking him to leave. Instead of just rekeying my existing deadbolt, he installed a new one, which was not the same color as my door handle. He also installed the new deadbolt upside down. Then, he couldn't get the key to work. He also got grease all over my freshly painted door and walls. And then, he asked me for $350! I could have bought two new deadbolts, keyed alike, from home depot and put them on myself in 20 minutes. I would never call this company again. I also tried to contact management and no one ever called me back. It's just an answering service when you call. Terrible service. read more

I gave Paul a call because I was stumped on how to get an appropriate solution for a commercial office building, and I had already had the mortise lock pulled apart and he was kind enough to walk me through the process of getting it back together and he showed up shortly there after, he also gave me a solution to my problem and was able to get me the appropriate items to have the door fixed in no time. I wanted to make sure I write Paul a 5 star review as soon as I arrived home, and here's why: I called Paul for an eviction lockout that was scheduled at 1:10pm. He said that he usually arrives 10 to 15 minute's before the sheriff shows up, so we agreed to be there at 1pm. He arrived promptly at 1pm. He was very friendly and professional, and proceeded to wait with me for the sheriff. At 1:15pm, I called the Sheriff's office, who informed me that they are running about half an hour late. I relay this to Paul, and he patiently waited with me for another half an hour! At 1:45pm I called the office again and was told that the lockout had been canceled!!!! Without getting too much into the details, basically our psycho tenant found YET ANOTHER paper-to-file-need-to-wait-for-court-hearing tactic, in order to delay the eviction. At this point I am utterly frustrated, not to mention that I felt really bad that Paul had to wait for what turned out to be nothing, but he completely sympathized with my anger (as we've been chatting about the whole eviction situation while waiting). And when I offered to pay him for the trouble of coming out here, he refused it. He said just call him when the lockout gets schedule next time. I mean if that doesn't attest to his work ethics, then I don't know what does. I wanted to share this long review because I genuinely appreciated his patience in dealing with my case (and the gloriously infuriating eviction process). So often as consumers, we forget to write the good reviews, and focus solely on the complaints instead. I think you will find Paul and his business to be honest and professional; one that WILL NOT try to rip you off or overcharge. Paul is one of the most personal and courteous locksmith's around. His knowledge of locks (which one's to toss, and the locks that were great to have on any door). His professionalism extended to the point where I went and got the locks, and when he noticed that a part was missing, he simply went back to the hardware store where it was purchased and brought back the correct locks that needed to be used. He quoted me a price before all of this happened, and stuck to the price even after he went twice to the hardware store to correct my mistake. Once all parts were put together, he wasted no time in completing the work, and cleaning up the mess that he made. I called Paul in to my new house that I'd just bought as I wanted to re-key every single door (I don't trust anyone, I'll admit, and thus did it immediately) as well as replace the door handle/lock/deadbolt on the front door as it was one of those awful electric ones. He turned up on time (10am on the dot), looked at every lock, and told me immediately he wasn't sure he'd be able to do the front door lock, but he'd do everything he could. He scouted the rest, was nice when I said "watch out, the tiny dog is also not fond of new people" and kept the doors closed as much as possible. By the time he was done, which took at most an hour, he had re-keyed everything, put on a brand new deadbolt/handle on the front door (and made it a smooth lock/handle). He also found that the back door's latch had locked permanently in place, and he replaced it. He's very, very nice, cleaned up well and was even really nice when I accidentally had him boxed him by someone else arriving. A+. Nobody else is worth calling. read more

Pulled a "dumb dumb" and locked myself out of my master bedroom on Christmas Eve. Called several locksmith and Paul was the only one available to come right away. He was professional and even looked at my neighbor's front door lock for her at no charge. He charge me a Flat Rate fee of $95 to open the bedroom lock.
