I have gone back and forth with this office for over two months! I've been a patient for YEARS and have had active health insurance they take since 2020. Out of the blue they call me and say "you owe us $700 because of a visit OVER two years ago that you paid a copayment on and ran your active insurance somehow didn't get submitted to the insurance company correctly so it's your fault" they had me jump through hoops to call my health insurance BCBS with confirmation and confirmed details of my ACTIVE health insurance to provide the office. THEY ALSO TOLD ME THE CLAIM # the office messed up submitted NEVER was recieved and they have no history of the claim!! Now that it's two years later the insurance company won't accept them resubmitting It correctly and they're trying to make It my problem why I as the client did EVERYTHING right and provided proof. They are out of their mind and need to take responsibility. Extremely unprofessional and I will not allow them to take advantage of me. WORST EVER!!! Do not use. First off, 0.0 lack of empathy. I had to go to him because of a loss of twins. Paul showed no sympathy. Did not even say I am sorry for your loss. He was even trying to crack jokes while I was balling my eyes out. To make it worse, his wife promised me to keep the tissues, so I could find out the genders. They threw everything away without notifying me, so now I will never know the genders of my 2 beautiful babies. UNACCEPTABLE!!!! Stolen credit card. The young girl at the front desk stole my debit card yesterday and tried using it at several locations last night. When I checked in she took my credit card, my ID and my insurance card but after charging my card for my appointment, she only gave me back my ID and my insurance card, so she intentionally kept my credit card. I am 100% positive it stayed there because I didn't use it at all for the rest of the day, it's a card I hardly ever use. I only realized I didn't have it because my bank contacted me for suspicious and fraudulent action. She tried buying a gift card for $223.44 at CVS and then later tried using it in a restaurant in Miami Beach. I will report her to the police, this is totally unacceptable!!!!! read more

To my shock was then billed by lab corp for testing and 2 months later another bill from Florida women care LLC for even more testing. All of these costs were hidden in the terms they make you sign in at reception! If I knew the true cost was this much I would not have gone through with the test. I've been through an absolute nightmare the past two weeks with another clinic, and I felt immediately safe and comfortable once I met with his nurse, then the Doctor himself, and lastly his anesthesiologist. On Tuesday morning at another appointment with a specialist, it was the determined the baby I was carrying no longer had a heartbeat. My specialist recommended a doctor but there were no appointments readily available for the current week, and due to time sensitively of the matter it was highly recommended to be seen as soon as possible. That afternoon I recieved a call from Maria, an Angel really. She was helpful, understanding and most importantly calm. She took my information and advised that there was an appointment for the following morning for the procedure. I readily agreed and answered the procedural questions to prepare me for the next day. Now I live in Broward County, Davie to be excant, so this was a long drive for me. My husband and both took the day off and arrived an hour and a half early to the center. About an hour before the procedure, Maria calls me. She begins to tell me that Dr. Norris, will go ahead and refer me to another doctor because he does not feel comfortable doing the procedure. I'm confused because an hour before the procedure is when you want to disclose to the patient during a health crisis and dealing with a time sensitive issue that you as a medical profession do not feel comfortable treating me. The explanation I recieved was that, due to my BMI, Asthma, and history of Anxiety, he did not feel comfortable doing the procedure in the office but would rather I be seen in an hospital setting. As my husband and I are driving back home 20 minutes later I receive another call from Dr. Norris Office with the information for the other doctor. I told them thank you for the information and continued on with my day. We arrived home and about 10-15 minutes from the last phone call I receive another phone call from Dr. Norris office saying that "if you want Dr.Norris will see you now just to check your airways to make sure he would be able to perform the procedure". Shouldn't that had been the first thing that was suggested instead of turning away a patient in the parking before even seeing them? I found the whole experience insensitive, unprofessional and rude to say the least. read more

HIDDEN FEES!! NOT A PLACE FOR YOUR PRENATAL CARE!! This place gave me unnecessary tests without notice and cost me hours to deal with unnecessary bills. 1. CHARGES $350 BEFORE DIAGNOSIS I was about 4 weeks pregnant and did a home test before I went to the clinic. The clinic charged me $350 before I see the doctor, that includes the ultrasound ($180), the urine test ($1.80) and the office visit ($130). When I did the ultrasound and the nurse said it's only 4 weeks, it's too early and nothing can be seen. So they had me to do the blood work to confirm pregnancy and charged me another $1.80, nobody mentioned or showed me on paper what kind of blood test was taken, I thought it was the essential prenatal tests. The nurse told me there would be a lab fee later depends on the insurance but she wasn't able to let me know how much I would need to pay after insurance. 2. NEED TO PAY $350 FOR THE SECOND VISIT A week later before they asked me to revisit the clinic for the results, I called and asked what else do I need to do and how much am I expecting to pay, the woman said 'it'll be the same like last time ($350). At first she said she was not sure I needed the ultrasound then she changed and said yes. I changed my ob clinic after the call. 3. TRY TO CHARGE ANOTHER $277 FROM THE FIRST VISIT Two weeks later I received a bill of $277 from the clinic, that includes the ultrasound, the urine test and the heart test again, among with other fees. I called back and the woman said there's an error, so she changed the bill and re-sent it to me. The bill was more than a hundred dollars, that includes the PSYCH TEST FEE $80 (the form I filled up up front with all the other forms ), the OFFICE CONSULTING FEE $80 (I didn't see Paul Norris at all, only the nurse, she only told me not to eat sushi and that's all), They cancelled my bill at the end, the clinic manager said on the phone 'We cancelled your bill for the quality purpose'. 4. UNEXPECTED LAB BILL $850 One month later,I received the bill from the lab asking another $850 total for all the blood tests, (includes CYSTIC FIBROSIS, FMR1 GENE DETECTION, SPINAL MUSCULAR ATROPHY CARRIER, CHORIONIC GONADOTROPIN TEST, RUBELLA ANTIBODY). I asked for the Zika test and the necessary prenatal test that day. None of the test items on the list were presented to me or shown on paper at the clinic. I called the clinic again, the manager said because you're pregnant so all the tests are required. I went to the other OB doctor since my first visit at this place. There is no fees changed before I see the doctor, the doctor gave my very detailed advices. There are optional blood tests on paper, and they were able to tell me how much I need to pay after the insurance. read more

I didnt like this doctor the first time I went in June 2020, waiting time was almost an hour, and he was unfriendly and gave me literally 5 minutes of his time for my appointment and then was shoved out the door without allowing me to ask any questions. I decided to give him another chance, unfortunately i had a family emergency out of the country and wasnt able to make my appointment, and was then charged a $50 fee which I was told would be sent to Collections if I didnt pay. The Best Doctor in the World to me! I never met a more loving, caring, compassionate, and thoughtful OB/GYN doctor in all my life. I am so blessed to have be under Dr. Norris's care. Dr. Paul Norris was referred to me by Dr. Hudson for an emergency review of my Ovaries for a second opinion over a decade ago. Since that day I have been a patient of Dr. Norris. I can say a lot. Unfortunately very dispointed with this office. They convince you to do procedures you dont really need, promising that its all fully covered by insurance. Three months later I get a bill for $350 dollars for a vaccine I never needed in the first place. Would never go back there and do not recomend it to anyone. Avoid it if you can! They seem to value money over health. read more

I don't understand what made other patients feel so great with this doctor. I felt pushed to get surgery and brushed off when had questions about my hormonal imbalances. I was given a weight loss product that messed up my metabolism even more and the follow up visits for that were not even with the doctor. read more

Dr Norris has the most wonderful bedside manner and really cares about his patients. He diagnosed my pain accurately-adenomyosis along with Endometriosis over 15 years ago and helped me tremendously. I am about to have surgery with him and i have all the confidence in the world in him. read more

My experiences with Dr. Norris have always been great. He used to be in the UM building in downtown and it was a pain to get an appt but now it is so much easier. His staff are helpful and pleasant. I give this place 1 star for cleanliness and the friendly staff. Make sure that your insurance will cover the costs completely. I saw the doctor for 2 minutes for an ingrown hair and the cost was $300 dollars. I paid 90 dollars in the office and they told me my insurance would cover the rest. Turns out they sent me to collections department for $55 dollars. He "prescribed" an epson salt bath for my issue. All I remember him saying is "It's a beautiful thing." I will not be seeing this doctor again. He was awkward and overpriced. read more

Dr. Norris is the best gynecologist I've ever been to. I come all the way from NJ just to see him every year. He's kind, compassionate and takes his time to talk to you. Normally I don't leave negative reviews. But after my appointment today and reading some other reviews, with similar experiences, I feel as though I should share. I have been a patient here for several years now (3-4years) and have usually had an OK experience, aside from the long waits and continuous phone calls. --- For the last year I was receiving a bill with a due balance. I called the office to ask what the bill was for and every time they would say to ignore the bill and i will not have to pay for it. This same conversation happened about 6-8 times over the last 12 months. I would receive a bill, call the office and then be told not to pay. This week I made and appointment and was told I had to pay this bill from a YEAR ago! I spoke to dr. Norris and the lady with the billing department and was given no option but to pay the full amount then and there. The billing department claimed it was a different bill than the one I called about, although this is completely false information. Needless to say, I left in tears, very upset and spending a lot more money then I budgeted for. ----They never tell you how much your bill is going to be and I've always received extra, unexpected bills after every visit. ---I was once even called by the office telling me I had an STD, and later that same day they called and apologized for giving me false information. ---I've felt pressured to do expensive tests and procedures... and with much thought, I have decided to switch to a new OBGYN, after years of being a patient here. I'm sad with the treatment during my visit and hope no one else receives unexpected bills years later. --I will say dr Norris did take my calls and texts one weekend when it was an emergency and I highly appreciated the service. I went to Mr. Norris for an annual check up, before my check up he tried to get me to get a couple of ultrasounds to rule out cancer. He did my pap smear, after he tells me I need two biopsies to rule out cancer. I took my report to another doc for a 2nd opinion and its Negative. He was trying to run up my insurance at my expense. Beware, unless you don't mind going to the doctor a million times and have your insurance run up. read more
