On the plus side, the lady was really easy to work with and did a really quick turnaround for me. She was willing to do revisions, but at the end of the day I just submitted what I had from the first pass. Maybe if you're starting from a more basic starting point, this is what you really need. But if you're looking to take an experienced professional resume to executive level, this may not meet your standards.

My counselor, Wendy, has gone above and beyond what I consider the normal by advising and offering great tips. I love when she calls out of the blue to check on me other than just waiting for assigned phone time. Shanika runs the front and greets everyone with a pleasant smile. A guest speaker named Dawn Mitchell gave a rousing talk on being motivated with a hint of spiritualism. Loved it!! Peter Lass sounded all of 40 but said he was 71 and understood the lay-off from the older worker aspect. He nailed his presentation by saying we have so much experience that comes naturally now. The webinars are super (like Peter's) and the in-person courses w/networking are super cool. Some counselors are truly dynamic; others, well not so much by doing the minimum of facilitation - a little dull. I don't like being laid off but I'm thankful for this experience w/LHH because I would never have had the opportunity of knowing about them and what they do. When I land I'll comeback and tell how LHH prepared me.

Shana Clark is a licensed professional counselor, and she specializes in so many issues: relationships/couples counseling, anger management, career counseling, problem solving, drug/alcohol abuse, grief/loss, anxiety ... I like that she has a spiritual background, and she is one of the few in people in Houston who uses the Thought Field Therapy/Emotional Freedom Therapy (TFT/EFT) and Tapas Acupressure Technique (TAT) aka "tapping" to clear of any negative emotions, energy and thoughts.
