Excellent service from Paul's fruit market on Chenoweth Ln. Got 2 massive ribeyes. The picture is half of one. Managed to grill perfectly to medium. Absolutely worth the price. $62 for 2. Not for every day, but a treat Absolutely.

Good start to the morning! Big sandwiches that will have you full all day! Bacon does not seem fresh, possibly reheated... it was overly crunchy. Would not get it again. Nothing special, just a solid breakfast sammy

This place has the sweetest honey dew and watermelon. Yum I go here on early mornings when I want to be healthy. Some of their other produces and items are expensive but the others are well priced.

Banana Pepper Mustard found at Paul's Fruit Market - my newest obsession.

I came in here for the first time and was blown away by the variety of items to choose from. I like that they have specialty items that are hard to find anywhere else - though this obviously means some prices are a little higher than you'd typically pay (but that's to be expected). I discovered one of my new favorite things while shopping at Paul's Fruit Market - banana pepper mustard. I am running low currently, so I am going to utilize their curbside pickup option and get some more soon! Once we're on the other side of this virus, I am looking forward to coming back here to peruse the isles and order something delicious from the deli!

Wow! We wandered into Paul's Chenoweth Square location after brunch recently and were amazed at just how many items were packed into the space. It looked like a spot with a large local clientele. Outside was a huge selection of ornamental and vegetable plants. There is ample parking available. I was impressed with the quantity of ready to eat and ready to cook items. The meat selection was impressive along with a good seafood selection. Very interesting spot.

I just started shopping at Paul's a few months ago, and it's become my go-to grocery. They always have really beautiful produce, Blue Dog bread by the door, and I love that samples are out everyday. One thing that Paul's really excels at is their plant selection. I planted my veggie garden late this year and struck out on a lot of what I was looking for at St. Matthews Feed & Seed. I'd stopped at Paul's for groceries and wandered around the back at Paul's and found so many seedlings! Lots of stuff beyond the basics, including crookneck squash, which completely made my day, and several varieties of lavender. The only thing that I think could be improved at Paul's is a substantive offering of local coffee beans. Besides that, this is one of my favorite finds for the year.

Fresh fruits and vegetables, local products, prepared foods, a solid butcher counter, and even seasonal essentials all in one place. It is honestly a perfect little grocer. I have been coming here my entire life, and that consistency is part of what makes it special. No matter how much the city grows or changes, Paul's always feels like Paul's. This Christmas morning, I stopped in to grab fruit and it felt like the rest of the city had the same idea. Busy, lively, and still incredibly well run. This year alone, my family ordered firewood from Paul's for the winter and also had them cater Thanksgiving. Both were excellent. That kind of range says a lot. You can pick up beautiful produce, plan a holiday meal, grab something ready to eat, or take care of seasonal needs without bouncing all over town. If you are a Louisville native, I truly hope you already know Paul's Fruit Market. And if you are new to the city or just passing through, this should not be an "if you know, you know" situation. This is one of those places that defines the community. Go once and you will understand why people keep coming back for decades.

The food - A lot of variety of sandwiches to choose from. My Turkey sandwich was packed with meat that overwhelmed the regular slices of bread. Loved the variety of fruit options, frozen items, fresh meat, and other things to try out. Garden section - Didn't know this existed in here. A variety of plants and flowers to choose from. Customer service- It was top notch from the counter and front store cashiers. Everyone was nice and on point. They kept lines moving which I appreciated too. I don't know why it's never crossed our minds to stop by more than once a year, but maybe that'll change? They have a wonderful selection of tress and each year we find one that we think is the perfect size however when we get it home it's almost too big (Christmas tree shopping probz). Their prices are about average and they have a selection of trees for $20 or less -- they tend to have floppy flimsy limbs that don't hold ornaments as well, but they work in a pinch. Immediately upon arrival you are greeted by the guys who work there and they let it be known that they are more than happy to help you find anything you need. We didn't need much help as we only looked for ten minutes or less and we found the tree that we wanted. It only cost us around $30. We showed the employee and he told us to go inside to pay and by the time we got out it was already by the car. While we were inside I had to browse the candy that they have there as well. Who can say no to some sweets during the holidays? I ended up walking out with some snow-caps, peanut brittle, chocolate covered almonds and chocolate turtles for less than $9. Not a bad deal at all. When we got back out they were ready with the tree and they even tied it to the roof for us and it didn't budge the whole way! They also have wonderful wreaths. It's hard to pass them up each year, however we already have a decoration for the front door, so while hard, we end up passing them by each year. Great customer service, great old-fashioned candy and a great selection of trees to bring home for the holiday season. Visit if for no other reason than to get some treats, friendly service and leave with a smile.
