From the beginning of my haircut I knew the girl who was cutting my hair did not have much experience with fine hair. I have very fine hair but a lot of it. She made frequent comments about my hair not liking her while she struggled to get my hair to do what she was wanting. My face framing bangs weren't blending quite right so I told her to go ahead and add my layers and we can circle back. She eventually asked assistance from a woman I assume is the owner. The woman came up, was very rough in messing with my hair and then trimmed them herself. At the end she said "it can't get more perfect than that" without even asking me 1. How I liked it or 2. What my original inspiration was. She was very blunt and made me feel like I was being too picky. The girl from the beginning took back over and was trying to thin my bangs on one side. I could tell she was nervous, not to mention the owner also made a comment about 20 minutes, as if she was taking too long to cut my hair. After this, she was using texture shears to thin out the left side, she accidentally grabbed a section on the side of my head and cut it. By this point, I was just ready to go. I got to a point where I at least could leave without feeling like I'd look crazy and told her I didn't know what else we could fix. She asked if I liked it and I said yes because I honestly accepted that this was the best I was going to get at this salon. I booked for a cut and style but my hair was never styled with the exception of her blowing out my bangs to try to help trim them better. At the end of it all I have much shorter bangs than I asked for that don't blend well into the rest of my hair. I did ask the girl if I could contact them after styling in a few days if I have some issues and she said yes. However, I do not believe this salon has the skill to fix what has already been done or give me what I asked for. I provided pictures of what I asked for, what I came in with, and how I left.
