The result was an unnecessary epidural to the wrong area of my spine which was not the area of my extreme and disabling pain. She was dismissive of me when I complained bitterly of my pain after the second epidural. Ultimately, I went to a neuro surgeon who immediately diagnosed the problem. He took the time to check out that the report from the radiologist was inaccurate and studied the MRI only to find the actual source of my pain. I had to endure 2 more weeks of extreme pain before I had to have back surgery because DR Taha was negligent,. I do not recommend her.

I did not follow my instincts and proceeded to get Cortizone shots in my back to relieve the pain. The Cortizone shots did not last long and I am still in pain. I received an automated appointment confirmation the day before my follow-up appointment. I came in after three weeks of the initial visit to let him know I was still in pain, only to find out He is on vacation. The young lady at the front Desk look but surprised and said "oh no one called you"., I reply no, but I had a computer asked me to confirm my appointment. Don't put your trust in a place that will do a procedure without looking at images and not be there when you need them or have a decency to call you to let you know That they won't be there to help you. Researching doctors is very important.

While I've been seeing him for a year now, I have not had surgery performed by him yet. Another good point is that with everything I have going on, he hasn't pushed surgery as the first option. He stressed trying all the least invasive methods first. That is a big plus these days.
