PROS: Dr. Farooki has always been respectful and nice to me ever since becoming a patient there. He does normal physician work and also blood work. Dr.Farooki is the best, he gives you a great exam and listens, he's been my Dr more than 50 years, I travel from Florida to New Jersey. He goes way above and beyond, he's just wonderful. His front desk office Felicia is amazing caring and gets everything to Dr. Farooki, follows up and is also one of the best people I am so thankful for the care and guidance that I get here. I hope he comes to Florida. I need a Dr who gives a physical with every visit, he really cares and is gentle compassionate. Dr Farooki is a true gentleman, who is a kind and attentive doctor. He respects appointment times and has always done a thorough examination, yet never rushes the visit. The office is clean and the staff are very nice. He's the old-fashioned, hometown general practitioner one sees in feel-good movies. I like that he respects my knowledge of and relationship with my body and isn't dismissive of my concerns. He has been timely in his responses to messages I've sent via MyChart. I have been going to Dr Farooki for many years. He is a very kind and compassionate doctor who has been in practice for decades. Yes, his office is not new but dirty as one reviewer said? Not in my experience. Dr Farooki is YOUR doctor. No revolving door from a group. For me, it's important to develop a relationship with my health professional so we get to know each other well. My health history is more than what's on a chart. I feel that a doctor who knows you well can treat you better. Dr Farooki is "old school" in that he listens to you. He is a terrific diagnostician and does not order unnecessary and expensive tests. No razzle dazzle here but what you get is excellent health care. I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Farooki when I woke up sick one morning and I was able to get an appointment that morning! I was a first time patient there and I will definitely come back again. The staff was incredibly sweet and accommodating, and the doctor himself was fantastic. He listened to my concerns and found a treatment option was right for me. Parking was also easy (street parking right outside). Yes, the building/office was old but when I go to the doctor I don't really care much for the interior anyway. I go to get checked out and given proper medication, which I received. read more

Dr is nice but very old school. Office is not friendly, outdated and dirty. Dr does not do thorough exams at all! After my last visit I will never return to his office again! His office billed my insurance company for the wrong Dr visit and refuse to fix the issue. read more

Dr. Farooki is an awesome doctor! I have been a patient of his for almost 40 years. He always eases any anxiety I have regarding my health. I trust his diagnosis and treatment and continue to use him as my primary care physician. I just wish some of his office staff could be a little more compassionate when dealing with his patients. read more

I have been going to Dr. Farooki for about 3 years but only for annual check ups. I recently had a very bad urine infection on a Friday and needed medical attention right away. I was able to get an appointment right away. They took a urine test and told me the result won't be ready until the following Monday and that someone would call me with the result which by the way never happened!!! Meanwhile Dr. Farooki gave me some antibiotics which I ended up not taking. I was told by my nurse practitioner friend that the antibiotics he gave me was very strong and was not necessary for urine infection, there were other less strong antibiotics that is more appropriate for my case. I took D-Mannose along with raw probiotics from a health food store, it worked like miracle with no side effects. My whole purpose to see a doctor was to get a test result so I can make the right decision to take antibiotics or treat it with herbal remedy. I didn't hear back from the office after a few days and couldn't leave a message. I finally called the receptionist who was very cold, unhelpful and indifferent. I told her i wanted to speak to the doctor, she told me the doctor was not available. Meanwhile, I could hear through the phone receiver that Dr. Farooki was chatting. I asked the receptionist that he was right there why couldn't he talk to me, she put me on hold for an extended period of time, I hung up. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT OFFICE AGAIN!!! On a separate and related issue, i took a mammogram a year ago, the office never called me back on my result. read more
