When we first got there, I gathered that the woman at the front desk actually didn't like dogs, and wasn't really warm or helpful and wasn't paying attention. Then, we got pulled into a separate room and went through everything with the vet tech. The actual vet was very kind and understanding and my dogs loved him. (Anthony?) he took extra care to express his concern with my dogs and/or make recommendations. I'm not sure about other vets in havasu (a few had already closed permanently) but we also had to wait for 45 minutes in the waiting room after our appointment because they wanted to run tests but didn't want to kick out another paying customer to go in our room. Ultimately it is a business but people have passion around their pets and it seems the folks we worked with weren't as compassionate.

When I pick her up from Best dog she is so happy to see me and not as nervous as I would think she would be so they must be good to her. And she always looks fantastic. One of my favorite parts is she's fully dry when I get her back, I hate when they try to rush the dog home at other groomers and you get a damp dog. They also do a great job with her shedding/undercoat. Prices are reasonable so I tried to always give a good tip. I don't give out many reviews, but felt this place needed a shout out.

Emergency vet lines told us to call crematories. None would answer. Some of the places we called even had robots/AI working their automated phone systems for them. Not a single one ever called us back. I was calling everywhere local for my in-laws, and I just needed to talk to a person that could help. My Beloved Pet Crematory answered on the first call. He offered pickup. We were already driving all over town to the local emergency vets & funeral homes that all said they were open online but when we arrived to each one, we found closed hours taped to the doors/windows. So we asked if we could meet him at his storefront instead. He was able to meet us there in less than 10 minutes. He dropped everything to be there for my family. He did not rush us, gave us time to say goodbyes, and was so compassionate during our time of loss. He handled their baby with care when it was time to let him go ‍ if I still am in the havasu area when it's time to make the call for my own dogs, I will not even consider calling anyone else. Months later, I am still overcome by my gratitude for the level of service and compassion he had for us when no one else was even available to answer the phone.
