It has some ramps so parts of it are handicap accessible. There are not a lot of swings but one of them is handicapped accessible but not a wheelchair swing. Almost every time I come to this park I see homeless people. Only once was there an altercation. But it's enough to make you not want to come in the early morning unless you have a buddy. The bathroom and picnic facility are usually in decent condition.

Our spot would always be at pine grove and would go fishing in their crappie pond and were thrilled when they added the new sand beach. Now in 2025, they have made our spot (Pine Grove) where me and many other families have always taken our spring break, fall break and other week vacations at and "annual only site" and closed it off. We thought okay that sucks but we can try out the others sites. We decided to try out Beaver Cove and that has been a MAJOR disappointment. The sites look like they have not been tidied up in who knows how long and their bathrooms are unclean and do not have any soap ever! No decent swimming/fishing areas around it. And ticks everywhere! You would figure if they decided to close off pine grove they would fix up the non-annual spots but no! Seems to be more about the money considering there are more annual spots than non-annual and they are better taken care of. After 11 years of camping here we have decided to look elsewhere to camp. So so so disappointed!!!!

It's a bring your kids to swim in the pool and climb around the playground kind of place. It's a 18-hole disc golf kind of place. It's not a 5-star park. You'll find car tires and concrete in the low flowing creek. You might even catch a draft of El Tapatio's dumpster along the paved trail. But still, the pool is clean, big, and full of fun options, the trail bends along the creek and has little wandering trails that lead off, and that playground is pretty sweet (I'd be pretty happy with that as a kid...or even now). There are 10 pull-through RV slabs with FULL hookups, each are long enough to line up two RVs and tow vehicles. Most of the slabs are level, but a couple have settled a little either forward or backward. The is one picnic table and rain shelter at the front of the RV parking area, next to the pay box and pricing sign. Nice view of the lake and a wide open sunset. Lots of room to run. I hope they plant more trees here. It looks so plain with out them.
