What kind of professional even suggests that a pet owner would bring in an injured animal? Then he had the nerve to tell me, *"We couldn't finish the job, but you still owe me."* I was furious. I threw the money at him and stormed out. When I got home, I discovered her ears were bright red and nearly bleeding. Fast forward two days and $883 in vet bills later: my dog has been diagnosed with a severely strained right paw and is now so traumatized she won't let anyone touch her paws. Debra and Dave were soooo nice and I could tell they really cared about our cats. The best part is that the cats have been super affectionate since their cuts, like it was such a relief to get rid of all that fur. My female cat in particular is very skittish...I was expecting her to hide under our bathtub for a couple days after we got home (like she does when we take her to the vet) but she was rolling around on her back, being frisky and following us around all night. I thought this would be a one-time thing until I could start resuming my daily vacuuming routine again, but based on how much my cats seem to love their new haircuts, we'll definitely be back.
