It is so much cheaper at Sam's. Took her forever to try and figure out how to reimburse me she was rude the entire time, she then called for the manager and what a joke she was. They could not use the computer. They charged me $8.31 for using a debit card, they do not take checks, huge sign on the wall stating that. I told them it would be nice if they would let people know there was a charge for using a debit card and you could not write a check prior to the visit. They both looked at me like I was in the wrong for stating that. Then they charged $6.00 for writing a prescription plus you have to pay for an office visit. The rude receptionist ask me did I want my dogs' records, basically telling me I was not welcomed back due to their incompetence. She has provided my two pitbulls with the best care and attention, and is always willing to talk to us on the phone when we have questions or concerns. The front desk staff and aides are sweet and helpful as well. One of my dogs has doctor anxiety and is a pain in the behind to handle, but they always treat him kindly, even if he's just scratched them up trying to escape the table. I am so glad we found such an amazing place for our babies during our 8 years in Bossier. I wish we could take Dr. Bradley with us when we move! Side note: the pricing here is amazing. This felt very threatening and honestly quite scary. - Service: Aural hematoma surgery and boarding for my Great Dane - Total paid: $2,250.70 - Key issues: * Surgery failed -- hematoma recurred under their care. * Boarded in 3×5 kennel; tech admitted on the last day that kennel was too small and was the cause of the recurrence. * No post procedure pain meds or antibiotics until requested; outside vet confirmed they were medically needed. * Charged for flea meds on his last day, when he was current on Bravetco and had a seresto collar; charged for an e‑collar that was not not provided. * Dog returned with paw sores from kennels and improper hematoma bandaging causing re‑bleeding. * Dr. Colvin emotionally berated me when I arrived to pick up requested antibiotics and pain meds - I attempted resolution privately; no response was received.

We were very concerned about the transition but we went for a consult Friday to get a quote and evaluation and her severe skin tags she's needs removed and Dr Meier and his staff are so calm and relaxed with her that it immediately changed her anxiety and temperament!!! They are so great at spending one on one time in the room with the parents were the dog feels safe letting them sniff them and really get comfortable and I believe she remembers him bc this is the 3rd time she has been there!! The staff is amazing, they got her set up on a new allergy medication that's a pill daily , she already takes 2 pills daily so one more won't hurt, it's to replace her shot she has been getting that we can never keep track of nor with our work schedules do we have time to spend a morning or afternoon taking her to get it, this will be SO much more effective and efficient for our family!! They also got us set up with there mail order pharmacy so that we can get her refills mailed to us every 90 to 120 days instead of trying to figure out how we are going to get up to a vet every 30 days and calling them and all of that!! I'm just in awe of how much easier life is going to be for us and for our fur baby who is basically our child!! and we are confident she is in great hands!! she will go back a little after surgery for her labs that I want checked and they are going to work on getting her medical records!! I think I've said a lot about this place and these amazing ppl but I could go on and on!!! You won't be disappointed if you bring your fur baby here even if just for surgery!! And they to have financing options I believe through the form of medical coverage credit card type things ( that's what we have ) to help keep you from forking over a ton of out of pocket expenses!!

She did a couple of tests and discussed questions I had. I received the results of the test the next day. Her results were perfect. We discussed food, water and being outside in the heat. Maggie is in great health and Dr Garcia takes excellent care of her. I am very pleased with UVH and Dr Garcia. I scheduled her next wellness check in six months. I highly recommend UVH and definitely Dr Garcia.
