Our one dog usually gets allergies when we take him on hikes/walks outside of FL, and this time we wanted to get ahead of the problem before it got worse. We noticed a few days after we got here constant licking, itching in all different places even throughout the night. We waited to see if it would improve to take him to our vet back at home, but it only continue to get worse, and we still had a few more days before heading back home to FL. My boyfriend's dad, and wife bring their dog here which is how we were referred. I was lucky to be able to get a same day appointment to see Dr. Jenna Washburn for a new patient exam, she did a skin cytology, was able to provide my dog a cytopoint shot which is what he has been given in the past by his vet for this type of issue, since she saw some bacteria in his skin cytology she also provided us with some cefpodoxine medication for him. I can't thank her & her team for seeing us in short notice. This will make sure the rest of our trip is more enjoyable for everyone. My first impression of the establishment was plenty of parking, lots of open space outside for the dogs to pee, the waiting area was very clean, nicely decorated, & welcoming for your pets. They have a coffee station by the door, and I saw a restroom on my way into our op. Our op was very clean, private, with some pet information to read while you wait, the assistant was very friendly, and very attentive to my dog. Price is pretty much the same that we would've paid in FL. They do ask for a $50 deposit over the phone when making your appointment but it goes towards your bill. Again thank you to the great front desk staff, assistant, and Dr. Washburn for seeing us ! I highly recommend this vet for your pet. If needed in the future we would definitely come back when in the area!

No such policy is disclosed in the business or on their website, nor did they give a verbal notification of this charge. Business manager emailed me and said the receptionist said there would be a late fee. That is not true. I would not have paid for a late fee and still be seen, especially after their technician disclosed to me that I was switched with their 3:00 patient because the other patient came in early and it all worked out well. Walked out paying $453.78 and still have not received my pet's prescription for her heartworm medication after notifying them multiple times. Front desk receptionists clearly covers for the office manager whom I have tried making an appointment with but only makes contact through email, and signs her name as Crystal, LVT with no last name. I'm curious how many other people are getting hit with hidden charges by this business. I am rating this with 1 star strictly for their unethical business tactics.

I wish I had thought to actually take a photo when they showed it to me. But that essentially is what they pulled out of Mocha's ear. They actually had it in a plastic baggie for me to keep if I wanted it ‍ Anyways I politely declined. Although it did look cool af. When I brought Mocha into the vets office yesterday I thought I was just bringing him in to check out his ear then would have to take him back in for the procedure. The doctor surprised me when he asked me when Mocha had eaten that day. I asked why and he said "well cause if you leave him here we will just take it out today and you can pick him up at 4". After picking up my jaw off the floor (mainly due to my baby boy going under anesthesia unexpectedly) I left. The vet was so fantastic! Mocha was quiet on the ride home and a little drunken sailor for the evening, but he wasn't in pain or uncomfortable anymore. He's completely back to his normal psycho self. Definitely recommend Pleasantburg Vet to anyone in the area needing a vet. They have been our vet for over a year now and I'm very pleased with them.

I was able to make an appointment easily over the phone, about a week in advance. I had a great experience checking in, loved the vet Dr Stauffer, and was in and out in under an hour! I felt that my pet was taken care of and I left with a good understanding of the underlying illness and required care. The place was smaller than expected, which wasn't an issue at check in but was very crowded when leaving (multiple large dogs in the small lobby, a desk/workspace in the patient waiting area instead of behind the counter, just overall crowded). Loved all of the vintage pet artwork. Overall good experience!

We were a walk in, but they got us in before lunch that day. The staff was amazing. The doctor that assisted us was wonderful. I feel bad that I do not remember her name. We have never had to put down an animal before, so my wife and I were both very upset. The doctor was very thorough with us in explaining everything during the "quality of life exam" she performed. She gave us various options without pushing her personal opinion on us...just her medical observations. She gave us some time to discuss and talk about what we wanted to do. Ultimately we decided it was best to let Molly go peacefully. The doctor once again explained the euthanasia process in great detail. She gave us as much time as we needed with Molly before her passing. We will definitely be using Richland Creek for any needs we have with our other cat or future pets. We highly recommend them. They even sent us a sympathy care that week.

I didn't know where to put my animals to stay out of his way as he puttered around. He complained that this wasn't the way to do "health care" and people should be going to vets and he shouldn't be doing this. He has been doing it for 40 years and has updated vehicles and this is his "living." From their arrival to my 2 cats and 1 dog getting vaccines (I was first in line and first to pay), it was around 30 minutes of listening this vet complain and wander around to other people's vehicles to give shots to pets that couldn't be in line. It was insanity. Then he interrogated us as to whether we had paid for the dog. Just crazy. I was charged $77 for 2 cats and 1 dog getting just rabies.
