They burtched my Maine coon. Shaved him from top legs to bottom, shave him maine off and his tail. He looks terrible, I'll never bring him back there!!! All i asked for was a shampoo, comb and cut under his tail. It's benn a week and he still looks awful, and stratching and digging at his fur, totaling upset. Never again!! read more

This is a top notch dog grooming salon. The staff are super friendly, the prices are good, and the dogs always come out looking great! I know people who work here so I guess I might be a bit biased but I really do think that this is an excellent business. I've picked there brains for a lot of the info here but if anything is wrong that's my fault. Prices are like I said really good. A bath and brush out for a large hairy dog is only about 30 to 40, 20 to 30 for a small one, and then trims range anywhere from 30 to 50 (as of March 2017). I would recommend calling and asking them directly; I know their prices have changed over the past summer so they might change again, and I only have rough estimates for the prices anyways. I do know that nails are $5! You do have to book an appointment for grooming (not nail trims though; those are just walk in), and if you want to be sure you get in I'd recommend calling 3 or 4 days in advance. Sometimes you'll be able to get in much closer to the actual date but during the summer and holidays it's much more difficult. Generally you'll drop off your pet sometime in the morning and then pick them up about 3 hours later depending on how busy they are and how long it takes to groom your pet. You can also have them keep your pet there for longer if you can't make the time and they'll make sure that they have water and have a chance to use the bathroom outside. The store is very, very clean. If you walk in during grooming hours there'll be hair all over the place but that's about it. Everything is wiped down, scrubbed, disinfected (with pet friendly products no less), vacuumed, and mopped at the end of everyday. The dogs are kept separate most of the time, so there's little to no chance of anything happening to your pets, abd the same goes for cats. They get housed in kennels that range in size from small toy dog to mastiff size, and after they're done being groomed they're usually put in larger kennels out front. They have a lot of different types of shampoo and hair products (including skunk stuff!!), and you can also bring your own if you want too. They have hypoallergenic, moisturizing, whitening, and conditioning stuff to name a few. They can also take care of fleas and ticks! Paws to groom is ok. I asked for the earliest appointment (which was at 8) but the groomers come in later and I couldn't pick up until 12:30. They almost did what was asked of them but the quality of work was not what I expected. The staff was nice enough but unprofessional. read more

My wife dropped off our two labs at this place on Friday, October 4, 2013 and we picked them up on Sunday, October 6 2013. I went in to get the dogs and thought the place was dirty and smelled of urine. The dogs crates looked small but the dogs were upstairs in the common room. There was one large dog in a small cage by itself. The outside "area" was dirt and small in size. It was not well maintained If I would have seen the place before we left them, I would have walked out and cancelled the weekend. In a nutshell, the building, grounds, and interior were poorly kept and run down. I did not go upstairs and the attendant brought the dogs to us. I noticed my male was walking funny and my female was gagging and trying to clear her throat. When we got home, my male would cry loudly when I touched his neck area. His neck and shoulder are injured. It took 2 days for my female to stop gagging. They both stunk to high heaven as well. This is a sign of someone yanking on their collars with great force. I called the facility and inquired about the dogs falling or getting into a fight (these dogs are total lovebugs to humans and other dogs) and got a less than enthusiastic response with zero sense of care or urgency from a young girl that seemed annoyed that I called. This is not the place to take your dogs if you love them. I feel the dogs were mis-treated due to the symtoms they are having. I expect better treatment for my dogs and should have gone to a better facility that may charge more but will give your dogs the care and love they deserve while you are gone. read more

I bring my golden here whenever I'm in the area. Price is great ($25-30) for basic bath and brushing and they usually do a fantastic job. Some sessions are more fantastic than others - his nails are perfectly trimmed (flushed against the wick); ears are cleaned; and his fur is trimmed just right. My dog got his first puppy cut this past summer and I could not have asked for a better job (was a bit pricier - in the $40s)! Staff is also very friendly and accommodating! read more
