They shaved her underbelly, and…read morestated that this is customary for a sanitary trim - But considering my dog is female, and does NOT become matted on her stomach, I did not understand why this shave was necessary. Nonetheless I would have accepted this if her underbelly looked neat. My dog's underbelly is appallingly messy, uneven, and patchy, and I worry that it will grow this way. When I brought this up with the Owner (who did this groom) she replied with a laugh and said "That wouldn't bother me" and "No one is going to see that". I also asked for a trim, she took that as meaning a "Thin of the Undercoat" MY DOG DOES NOT HAVE AN UNDERCOAT, and I don't understand how a dog groomer cannot tell the difference between a single and double coated dog. She offered me a free groom, but I regret having paid in the first place and will unfortunately not be going back, as I believe I can do a better job at home. Don't bother, or if you do, check your dog before paying.
