They are not open on Saturdays, and it is completely impossible to get through there on a lunch break. As I really don't want to take time off just to do banking, I am in the market for a new bank.

The hours are Monday-Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Sat 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM; and closed on Sunday. Like most businesses, Chase branches will be closed on federal holidays. I've frequented this Chase Bank branch location to use their ATMs or to speak to the teller many times since moving to Providence. There is usually always a security guard by the entrance. Recently, I came here because I needed foreign currency for a future international trip. I went to the teller and informed her of the amount I needed in JPY. The teller informed me of the current exchange rate and how much I would be charged. The bank exchange rate was close to the public exchange rate plus some fees. The teller informed me that the money will arrive in 1-2 days and they will give me a call. On the transaction summary receipt, it shows the foreign amount, exchange rate, US amount, and that foreign exchange rates include spreads paid to chase and our vendors and may vary from rates quoted publicly. The next day, I got a call that the money arrived and to bring ID to pick it up. It was a very simple and quick process.

My phone calls end in "I'll send an email" "you'll hear back tomorrow" or even, "that is not a customer facing department" . How pathetic!!! I go to LinkedIn and see hundreds of Vice Presidents for Citizens bank and yet, they all must be in the same room just emailing each other about meetings to schedule and meetings to attend, while the customers take their money elsewhere. I can no longer go to a local branch because you've converted the convenient locations with off hours to virtual booths. They then reported to the credit bureaus my entire loan as a $113K missed payment. So my credit dropped 110 points while they had over $800 of my money sitting in an account doing nothing. They refused to even talk about removing the "missed payment" from my credit report. I will be refinancing with another company and will never use this one again.
