He is very helpful and I never feel that he wants to sell you more then necessary - I just got a puppy and I was really "what else could I buy, please tell me...?!" and he was like "trust me, you have everything, you don't need more" - and trust me, i would have bought everything he would have offered me. I take his attitude with a smile, behind that there is a very nice man that has a great shop with great stuff (also amazing for presents !) Love for pets and a lot of knowledge that he is always willing to share. I like it!

I didn't check the reviews earlier else I would have avoided the place. Glad I bought my first fishes from here! The owner was kind and friendly, and even threw in a fish scoop (net?) for free as he was out of new ones. He calmly suggested all the supplies I'd need for my first little aquarium. Yes, they're cash only for some reason, but luckily there's an ING cash machine just a minute away. I got to talk a lot with the owner and turns out that he's been running it for 25 years! That's a big inning in a competitive marketplace like Amsterdam. I have no idea if it's generally an expensive shop, but I ended up getting a lot of stuff for quite cheap. All in all, a wonderful experience. The house cat needs to go on a diet but loves attention. The only suggestion I have is for them to get with the times and start accepting debit cards.

Nothing extraordinary but a good place for cat-themed items for humans and cat supplies, including…read morebrushes. They were doing a grooming exam for someone's cat when I was there and the employees were friendly. I didn't buy anything but what they had seemed of good quality.
