I booked for a couples massage before landing in Guadalajara. Super close to where we were staying. Was able to communicate and ask questions via What's App. Paid the 20% ($28) through the app also. They had about 8 different style massages to choose from. My mind went totally blank and free for the 90 mins we were there. So soothing and relaxing!!! Place is really clean. I felt so safe especially being in a country I have never been to before. We're here for 2 more days and trying to see when we can go again. 90 mins- 1200 pesos ($70). Not one minute was wasted. I had booked for a deep tissue massage but they were kind enough to explain their method to me and informed me that what I was looking for was the Anti-stress message. This was absolutely perfect!!!! I can not recommend it enough. This will be my go to place whenever I visit. I'm booking a session for a family member, who lives there to go. They did get down payment when I booked through PayPal and it wasn't an issue. They took it out from the total. Super easy. My friend and I got the one hour stress relief massage which had a blend of essential oils and hot stones. They have a varorty of options for massages which clearly described the various aspects ans techniques included. The therapists were very accommodating with our minimal Spanish and spoke to us in English, which was not expected, but very much appreciated. I was recently in Guadalajara visiting friends. I decided to treat myself to a three hour session which consisted of a full body massage, exfoliation and facial. Elizabeth provided the services. She could not have been more accommodating. The massage was excellent - just the right pressure as I do not like deep massage. I recommend calling to schedule rather than going through WhatsApp. The spa is located in a great area - centrally located near Chapultapec. I will definitely return the next time I visit Guadalajara. The price was very reasonable and the service excellent. read more

They apparently do not encourage tourist trade. They make unreasonable demands for payment in advance, when they should know full well that a tourist is not going to be able to facilitate that type of transaction without local banking. Additionally, they want a 20% deposit on any services you want to have done and in advance, with a narrow 5 minute late time limit window, presumably after which time you have forfeited your 20%....sounds pretty shady. Everybody knows that when you are relying on a taxi or Uber you cannot know for certain if you will be at an appointment exactly on time...especially in GDL where traffic can appear out of a minor accident and delay you unexpectedly. There are many other places without this mercenary approach toward their customers. I would suggest that you avoid this one. read more

Paxio was a pleasant surprise and great way to end a trip that included alot of walking. After day 4 of many drinks and lots of walking my friend and I decided the best option for our last half day was a massage. Paxio came up on Yelp as near by and with good reviews, a double win. I messaged them through Yelp for availability and there was a prompt response, i also liked being able to use Yelp as my Spanish is not good. They then provided the massage options, times and their reservation policies and we were able to get everything set up. They do required a 20% hold for scheduling but I knew this was 100% our plan. The place was clean, well kept and inviting. We had a bit of a hard time figuring out how to get in but I called and they came to the gate to let us in. We were offered water and a menu to determine what massage option of their 10 different options. Overall the massage was really good and relaxing, there were a couple different smells involved not sure if they were essential oils or what but I'm typically pretty adverse to smells since I'm allergic to many things. But it was ok. Overall I think for the cost it's was 100% worth it and a nice end to our vacation. read more

I really needed a massage. Paxio is very close to the main drag of Chapultepec. Claudia did my 60 min deep tissue massage, it was awesome. Definitely helped with how tense my back was, having severe tightness in my upper back. It was difficult, but she helped my knots a lot. The business itself is very professional. I don't speak Spanish really, but that wasn't a problem. Fair prices. Also, my friend and I showed up 90 minutes before closing and they were able to get us in last minute, which was very nice. read more

I came here on a Thursday afternoon and it was magical how peaceful and quiet this place was. I made an appointment for mid afternoon and was able to get one of their promotions for 850.00 which included a 60 minute massage and a foot reflexology. They were super attentive to me the minute I got to the door and were able to work with my schedule. Offer glasses of water and they have WiFi, which is great if you are traveling out of the country like me. During the massage they really focused on my back which was very needed. I got the anti stress massage and they took out so many knots I had on my back. I hey were also very understanding of the fact that I have a shoulder issue so they worked around that. The only reason it was not a 5 star was because I expected for them to focus more on my feet rather than my face (although it still felt good) but it was that sort of thing when you are expecting something but get something else. But even to the very end I was offered a glass of mineral water with passion fruit which was delightful! read more

I contacted this place and they seem to be a safe place and responded to my text so I sent back a text that I would walk over to the location. This was such a fantastic facility! The staff make sure you are completely comfortable before starting the massage. They were very friendly, professional, and knew how to put you at ease before starting the massage. Some staff do speak some English in case your Spanish is rusty. They were able to quickly accommodate my partner and I even though we didn't have a reservation. They also provide delicious green tea afterwards.
