Wow - where do I even begin? This spa went above and beyond in every possible way. We were a group of three couples, including a pregnant woman, visiting from out of town with a packed travel schedule. Despite originally not having any availability for us, they somehow found a way to make it happen. And get this - on their day off, they opened their doors just for us! That level of dedication and care is so rare these days. From the moment we walked in, the entire team treated us with the utmost professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail. They made us feel welcomed, relaxed, and completely taken care of. It truly felt like they removed all the stress from our busy lives in just a few hours. Every treatment was done with such expertise, and they were incredibly accommodating, especially with the needs of our pregnant friend. We left feeling refreshed, pampered, and so grateful for the experience. If you're in the area--or even if you have to make a detour--this is the spa you want. I was in Guadalajara for vacation with my mom, sister, and boyfriend. Bhajanjeet and her husband are amazing. They created a business and opened up their home to the community and the world! They do yoga, sweat lodges, massages. and MORE. The experience I had here was so great that I had to come twice in the few days that I was in Guadalajara. I first got massages with my mom. Bhajanjeet and her husband can essential read your energy from the massage so after the massage, they are happy to talk to you and give you advice and consultation based on Ayurveda. The feeling that I got talking to Bhajanjeet was that she was extremely intuitive - like she knew me deeply after just a 60 minute massage (which was amazing, she uses strong pressure :)). I came again with my sister I think two days later! Their advice and consultation was wonderful and so accurate. Bhajanjeet read into the relationship with my mother, among other things - it was incredible and provided me valuable insights moving forward. I am not into astrology, psychic readings, or anything like that, but I like to read energy and vibes off of people. With Bhajanjeet and her husband, I can tell that they have been practicing this work for so long and that they know what they're doing and talking about. I very much trusted them early on and was open to their guidance, and so happy I was. My sister tried the sweat lodge and had such a moving experience - but I'll leave it to her to explain it :) The services they provide by the way are so fairly priced. I was also extremely grateful that they agreed to see us at late hours - past normal open times! They were very flexible to accommodate us. They also speak English very well. Canto Yoga & Spa is a large, beautifully appointed space that showcases the gracious serenity of the host and the venue. The elegance of the site is a jewel case that highlights the warm welcome that Bhajanjeet and his lovely family extend to their guests. I've sampled two types of massages here. The Relaxation massage was gentle, and in my case, it felt like soft and intuitive bodywork. Bhajanjeet was a master at detecting the tender spots of body and psyche and touching them in a way that melted stored-up tension and minor injuries during this hour-long massage. Afterward, he took the time to talk about self-care health modalities that I could continue at home. Then, I came back and tried the Hot Volcanic Stones massage, and it rocked my world. Sorry for the pun, but it is that good. Yeah, at first I was cynical, thinking "What kind of idiot pays someone to put hot stones on them?" But really, this hour-and-a-half treatment proved to be a fantastic massage. It's a ritual of relaxation that incorporates touch, pleasingly warm and silky feeling stones, music, and aromatherapy. I felt the practitioner's good intentions as well as his sophisticated technique for a very pleasurable and healing massage that genuinely rubs the right way. (Note: while Canto is a space for attending to your body, mind, and spirit, the ability/curse of making terrible puns continues unabated!) Still the massage I had here was excellent. I'm changing my review that I posted 3 days ago cuz I im pretty sensitive & feel it was a bit much for me, & I didn't appreciate it going overtime. Incredibly intuitive and compassionate care, very comprehensive in identifying areas of concern in a holistic way. He identified my dosha and chakra imbalance and gave practical advice on how to rebalance. I appreciated his vast knowledge of herbs, meditations, essential oils, and daily practices for optimal health. His insight is so accurate and wise. After the Ayurvedic consult, I had a massage which focused on energetic rebalance and it was absolute complete bliss. The Space is an oasis for a variety of health and spiritual services. I got a massage there from Bhajanjeet and I was blown away! It was the best massage I received in a long time! Bhajanjeet spoke English well and was very attentive to my requests. I got a full body massage with essential oils and I felt very relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards. In addition to classic massage moves, he applied some energy techniques, told me where I had areas of particular tension, and focused on those. He went well over the scheduled time of one hour at no extra charge because he felt I needed it. The price was very reasonable. The massage table was comfortable and in a large and pleasant room. There was some soothing music, which helped relaxing, although the playback had some minor glitches at times. I'm sure they have fixed that since then. I'm definitely going back for a massage next time I visit Guadalajara and I highly recommend it to anyone. My 19 year old daughter and I received 90 minute hot stone massages and it was a phenomenal experience. Hablo espanol muy poquito but they spoke wonderful English when I called which made it easy to book an appt with the right treatment. It's a holistic Ayurveda approach and they spent time up front understanding our lives, stresses, and pain points before the treatment started. My daughter said it was like they were psychics in quickly understanding her life. The hot stones weren't too hot, and the whole experience was relaxing, therapeutic and healing. It was a full body massage combined with incense and music. It wasn't a deep tissue so keep that in mind if you are looking for deep pressure on paint points. I highly recommend Canto. The space is beautiful, the experience is very welcoming, the owners are sweet and caring, and it was the perfect way to wind down our visit to Guadalajara. read more

I had walked in very stressed and full of knots in my neck shoulders and pressure pain in lower occipital area feeling blocked and clogged from the mind. I had the 90 minute relaxation massage. Definitely worth it and felt super relaxed and chill afterwards.

I've now had several treatments here within a short span of time and can say I've had wonderful experiences that I highly recommend. Overall the treatments have helped me through some transforming times, surgeries and work switch. My soul and spirit are rejuvenated, my body is so much more relaxed and able to greet the world feeling comfortable. My boyfriend has also started coming for treatments and is now the one prompting me to make appointments and get on their schedule. The recommendations for oils and supplements and exercises is also super helpful for both of us. we appreciate the time and love and care here so much.
