Dr. Payman is a skillful chiropractor who takes the time to LISTEN to his patient's complaints and he does not just start cracking your back & neck all over the place like so many chiropractors out there. I appreciate his caring attitude and not rushed treatment he uses for his patients. Dr. Javaherian was wonderful. First, he was able to see me last minute on a Sunday morning, and second he provided me with great treatment. I had terrible back pain, which turned out to be back spasms. He treated me for an hour or so. I left his office with no spasms after barely being able to walk or stand straight coming in. A Dr who truly cares and I highly recommend Dr J! Not only was he able to see me on a SUNDAY before I had to leave for a week-long work trip, but he was able to see me the SAME DAY that I called. I called around 11 AM and he was the ONLY Chiropractor out of all the Chiropractors that I called who actually picked up. I was in his office by 1 PM. And I am so glad he was the one who picked up :) Back story: I had been in a car accident (rear-ended) a few days prior and was in a lot of pain. He was able to start treatment immediately and gave me tips to ease my pain during the long flights as well as making sure I didn't take a carry-on as heavy lifting would not help. First, I want to assure folks out there who might be a bit frightened about chiropractors who snap or crack the spine or neck of their patients, well none of that occurred during my visit, at least not for my particular issue. This facility seems to have lots of other methods of helping based upon my experience there today. Here's how it started: I spent an entire Saturday night with my shoulder blade in agonizing pain - no real reason, just a combo of lazy posture and getting old I suppose, yay. And the best (worst) part was a dreadful presumption that the suffering would continue until Monday because no one is ever open on Sunday, right? Between playing hockey and doing Crossfit, I'm normally a pretty tough cookie, but when I finally ran out of tears Sunday morning, I tried searching Yelp for chiropractors using the "open now" feature then braced myself for inevitable doom. The first pleasant surprise was finding that Dr. J's listing showed up, and the next was when Dr. J personally answered the phone!! I'm sure he was busy doing other things at that moment, but he spent fifteen quality minutes discussing the possible reasons and the source of my pain. He advised me to try a few home remedy exercises (the "chin tuck") then call him back in two hours. Ready for a bit more shock and awe? He's the one who called ME back to check on my progress!! I had only slightly improved from feeling a thousand knives stabbing my scapula to nine hundred ninety-nine so he told me to come on in. His office was clean and organized. He spent an hour and fifteen minutes using an ultrasound machine on my shoulder (completely painless) and also used what I call the "Electric Muscle Earthquake Maker." He patiently and gently began the process, allowing me some time to acclimate to the eery twitching for a bit before raising it to the next level (it was never painful, just a strange sensation). Then he demonstrated some more stretches and exercises and carefully explained that I shouldn't expect to be cured right away, in fact it may be a bit more sensitive before it gets better. He was right. The short drive home was rough, but I did everything he said and now I'm down to about forty-six stabbers in my scapula. Because it was Sunday, he couldn't verify whether or not my insurance plan would be accepted but he graciously agreed to send them the bill first and if there was a problem, then he would contact me. He also said I should call him in a few days to possibly schedule another appointment because he estimated that it may take two or three sessions before the attempted shoulder murderers are all gone. read more

I visited Dr. Javaherian when I was experiencing great pain in my neck. To treat the issue, he applied some electrodes to the affected area and ran some electrical current that caused the muscles in the area to contract. After the electricity, he kneaded and massaged the muscles in my neck. The treatment was very effective! My pain was completely gone after my second session in his office. On a Sunday morning I called the doctor with quite a bit of lower-back pain. He came into the office just for me, 15 minutes after I called! He is such a nice guy, very warm and caring. Considering he sees hundreds of patients in a year, he still made me feel listened to and taken care of. I had bad pain in my lower back and he had me do a few mobility demonstrations (seeing how far I could twist or bend before the pain started), then he did a warming ultrasound on my lower back. I couldn't feel anything but he said it helps the muscles. Then he put electrodes on my lower back, and although that felt like slightly prickly vibrations, it certainly didn't hurt. That stayed on for 20 minutes during which we chatted and he was very friendly and open, making me feel like an old friend. He was very honest about how this will help but it'll take awhile to feel 100%. He recommended I come in a couple more times for that electrode therapy (which really did help!) and I didn't feel it was scammy at all (like how I've felt with some other chiropractors). He said if I can't come in, no problem but give it time and no heavy lifting or twisting. I was just so grateful he dropped everything and saw me so quickly. Talk about customer service! read more

I was in excruciating pain after having a massage, that got me down to my knees (and sometimes crawl coz I couldn't either stand or walk), and I was desperate to find help on a Sunday morning!!! I have been experiencing a lot of pain in my lower back, which has started from my neck. I have been to many MDs and Chiropractors. No one was able to help me with my pain. Some adjusted my neck when I was in major pain. This caused me more pain. Some gave me pills to take, which reduced the pain, but did not get to the source of the discomfort. When I walked into Dr. Javaherian office, he took the time to sit with me and asked me questions. He found out when the pain is coming and when do I feel it less. He also asked me what I have done before to alleviate it, and discussed my other options. He took his time and gave me an excellent exam. Then little by little he started giving me treatment. He did not crack my neck or back, and cause me more pain. instead he used tools and treatments that helped decrees my distress and discomfort.
