I read way more reviews than I write... but I could not be more excited to have found Amy, practicing her art (with absolute excellence) right here is SLT! I really love a quality massage.. especially during ski season when my 52 year old muscles get put to the test. Trouble is, I'm kind of cheap when it comes to spending money on myself... and paying $70 to $120 for a 60-90 minute massage of unknown quality has kept me from getting massages as often as I like. If you're a massage lover, you've probably had the experience where you're halfway through a massage and think "I cant believe I'm spending a hundred bucks for this". But no more! Amy offers very attractive prices.. But most importantly.. she is frickin AWESOME! I've had about 8 massages from her, and I am forever hers! I love that she uses hot stones (without it being an "extra")... and wipes some essential mint oil on the underside of the head rest. She obviously has been well trained, but her gift - in my opinion - is something that goes beyond learned technique. Amy has knowing hands. They read my body... lingering on those areas that need extra work. Her application of pressure is always spot on (I like deep pressure). She has a healing gift like nothing I've experienced (and I've experienced a lot of massages.. all over the world.. at all kinds of price points). Since I've sampled Amy's skill and knowing hands, I have not given a second thought to the cost (which really surprises my wife who knows how cheap I am when it comes to this category of expenditure) I paid for my daughter to visit Amy a few weeks ago. She was just back from a long trip through Southeast Asia where a good 90 minute massage cost maybe $10. My daughter had probably 20 massages during her travels and - like me - had serious pushback on paying 7+ times that for a massage state side. After coming back from Amy, she told me "dad, that was the best massage I've ever had". Those were my words exactly after my first massage from Amy back in January. I plan to sign up for her package deal, and see her twice a month from this point forward. I am yet another person who misses Amy, the LMT and Amy the wonderful person. I recieved regular massage from Amy when I lived in Cedar City, Utah. PROFESSIONAL is the first adjective that comes to mind. So, now that you know Amy is trustworthy and is an excellent business person, let's talk about her massage work. I give Amy's massages an A plus. Need I remind you that I am completely addicted to recieving massages on a very regular basis? I have lived in three states, and have actually traveled the world. From Thailand, to Utah and all the way to the Caribbean, Amy is at the top of her field. I have scoliosis which caused me to have chronic back pain for over four years. I can't even begin to tell you enough amazing things about Amy !!!! From the start she was super sweet and extremely professional. She hooked us up with a couples massage with sherre who is also in the same building a co op if you will ;). So me and the hubby could be seen together. He loved his tailored massage with sherre also. He said she knew what she was doing and that he could tell she loved her job. Mine Was so tailored to me and honestly one of the best deep tissue/medical massages I've ever received. She truly cares about her work and pleasing the client the customer service is so spot on. She's right near a vegan cafe and soon a brewery. So after rubs you can grab a bite or a drink. The prices are so fair I paid 75 for a hour but amy went over by 15 mins which was wonderful. And she included deep tissue and Hot stones in that price !! Folks out here where a 50 min massage is 120 dollars to me that's highway robbery. Save your cash and upgrade to the 90 minute with this lovely lady or see her twice for that price. You won't regret it. My only regret is that I didn't do a 90 to start with. Next time I will and I will also see miss holly for a facial and a sugars waxing treatment.
