I get a message here every time I'm in town. I love all the bath products they sell as well. They make great gifts for family and friends. I love everything about this place!

I had the best Swedish massage of my life here this past Monday! It honestly made me question other Swedish massages I've had because her technique was so good and different - definitely haven't had it like that before. I think her name is Cendra or Kelly (I'm sorry for not remembering!!) I asked for a little more pressure and she got it just right. I know she is a good massage therapist because I have tough problem areas in my neck, shoulders and back that I've had for years, and most people shy away from it - she however went full on into them and tried to resolve all of them, all the force it took! lol! So good! So amazing! The room, music and air was just right, AND the massage beds have a heating pad that they turn on beforehand - what?! Such a game changer! She also didn't use excessive massage oil - usually I feel so greasy after leaving a massage place and have to scrub hard, haha after this one I didn't have to. You can also tell that the quality of oil is just better, it just felt and smelled better. They give you plenty of time to undress and get dressed at the end. I didn't feel rushed at all. They also have a huge bathroom and a waiting room with a fireplace where you can relax for a bit. Important / Safety: They have you sign a waiver when you check in, for COVID and general health issues you might have. All of the staff were wearing masks, and they give you an option to wear your mask when you are face up towards the end, which isn't really necessary since your face is covered with a cloth then, so I opted out. They also space reservations out so you're not waiting around with other people - we were the only people there when we went, then there was someone waiting while we were checking out. I highly recommend coming here if you visit! They have a CBD massage that I want to try next time. Perk: You also get a discount from their shop where they sell a variety of things for both home (yoga, zen decor) and personal use (jewelry, bath products, etc.) So good! So worth it!

We went for a couples massage and upgraded our oils to the CBD oil. Even though it was a bit pricy, it was worth every penny!

Is a nice option, which it was more separate from the main store up front but a good couples massage.

I'll start with the positives: Alex and Pamela were fantastic. Their massages were excellent, and they were the only reason this review is getting 2 stars instead of 1. The gentleman who greeted us in the hotel lobby was also very kind. Unfortunately, everything else fell far below expectations. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and originally hoped to book at Edgewood, but their spa was closed for renovations. We asked for a comparable experience and were referred here. At $170pp, we expected something relaxing and upscale. Our appointments were at 1:00pm, and the spa called the day before to let us know we could arrive early to enjoy the amenities. We arrived at 11:00am and were immediately met with an unfriendly attitude from the front desk. Instead of welcoming us, she seemed irritated that we had arrived early, even though the spa had invited us to do so. The "locker room" was another disappointment: 4 lockers inside what was essentially a bathroom. For a couples spa day, having to change and use the restroom in the same cramped space was awkward and far from the experience we expected. When we grabbed towels from the locker room to head to the pool, we were abruptly told we couldn't use them and had to go to the hotel front desk for separate pool towels and a pool key, while wearing spa robes. The pool area itself was also disappointing. The hot tub had dead flies and wasps floating in it, and the overall setting felt more like a hotel entry area than a peaceful spa retreat. We were told to return 10 min before our treatment, so we came back early. We were then informed our "steam room" was ready. In reality, it was a tiny steam shower with enough room for 1 person to sit...not exactly the couples amenity we had imagined. To top it off, the final price was higher than quoted. We booked at $170 per person but were charged $185 per person, plus a 20% gratuity. We were happy to tip our massage therapists, they earned it, but no one explained the additional charge. For $444 total, this experience felt extremely overpriced and underwhelming. If you're looking for a true spa day, I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere.

I scheduled a 60-minute relaxation massage with Brenda and expected a light, purely Swedish-style experience. Instead, she masterfully combined Swedish techniques with targeted pressure point work. By the end of the session, all of my aches and pains were gone, and I felt better than I have in a long time. I will absolutely be back.

I have only gotten one other facial done (during my wedding) but I was expecting the beautician to critique my skin and tell me my pregnancy acne was horrible, but actually the opposite! She took fabulous care of me, kept reassuring me that it would clear up. The prenatal massage was fabulous! My massage therapist was super sweet and did the right amount of pressure. She also let me pick the last 15 minutes for hands or feet, which was nice! So I would definitely call them and schedule a spa day! It is clean, lightly dimmed in all the rooms, and I liked how it was set up with a seeming small space, but could not hear anything else outside the room!

As a previous reviewer, Meredith had mentioned, Candice does an ok job (from the one time I…read moreactually had a service- I had no time to assess what she was really like), but her interpersonal skills are lacking to say the least. And this, in the end makes such a HUGE difference. I also own my own business and have a degree in Marketing and Business Management. Customer Service can make or break a business. So no matter how "good" the product is, if your customer service skills are lacking, you'll lose in the end. As Vince Lombardi said, "It takes months to find a customer, seconds to lose one." And in this day and age where so much is word of mouth, it can be a millisecond when treated badly. In this small town, bad customer service severely hurts businesses. I went in to see Candice the first time a few weeks ago and she was a little cold when I walked in. It was all business. Not much eye contact. I thought it was strange considering it was my first time in. She did an ok job. She seemed rushed. But I wanted to give her another shot for a different service. I had a family emergency a few weeks before with someone in the hospital with a stroke and so I cancelled with her a little over 48 hours in advance and rushed to the hospital in AZ. She said, "Ok" on a text; no "so sorry to hear that" or, "When would you like to reschedule?" ....It was just, "Ok". So I had to reach out to her to reschedule later. No biggie. I just rescheduled. I did think it was weird though. It was like she was doing ME a huge favor. But it was the second time that I came in that really started the ball rolling in negative impact. I came through the door and Candice was in the back and she was in a flurry of emotions. She had a family emergency and was shaking and crying a little. Which I get! She said she just wanted to get out of there to be with her son who may have had covid. I could totally empathize having just gone through an emergency. She said she could still do it, but was shaking and kept saying, "I have no time to numb you!". I told her that family comes first and to please just attend to her son and we could reschedule. I had cleared my whole day for this, but I totally understood. She handed me a container of lidocaine and told me to numb my own face 40 minutes before coming in next time...um...ok...I've never numbed myself but...ok...I just was worried for her and her son. Little did I know that from hearing from others, that she has a temper in general. We confirmed a time for me to reschedule by text and I put it in my phone. Only, I put it in as a half an hour later by accident. So, there I was on the morning of my appointment, numbing my own face (with no instruction from her on how to do this exactly), and I get a text with her saying that she would not take any clients 10 minutes late. Hmmm...I realized my mistake and called her to ask if I could still come in (it was 15 minutes past at that point). She was so angry and said she was "annoyed" at me and said that she "wished me luck" in finding a new provider and no goodbye. Wow. So it seems to me that she slams her clients in there back-to-back and has them do their own numbing. It seemed so strange to me at the time, but now I understand because she books her clients back-to-back and doesn't waste her time numbing clients and has them do it themselves. Word to the wise, do not get on her bad side. She has zero empathy for you. She just wants your business. Too bad. I really wanted to give her another try.
