My husband is a Military Vet using his GI bill. His plan was to get a job in cybersecurity as they specialize in getting their students jobs. They sent plenty of expired job applications or applications that were at senior level and required 3-5 years of experience in which no student was eligible for. He loved the teacher but hated that he was the only person in class because there are two locations !!! The main locations in west palm beach which they failed to mention or bring up at all! Seems like it was a popular school in the mid 2000 but it's not exactly worth it in 2025 to spend such a high tuition when you follow an online curriculum, unfortunately. A lot of students had issues and frustration. 1) since it's not a traditional school it takes more of your GI Bill for reference !!!! For example if you take the school for 6 months it will take 10 months of GI bill 2) job applications were expired or required 3-5 years of experience 3) Many students were PISSED that they took out student loans for this IT DOES YOU NO GOOD TO GO HERE WHEN THERE IS NO EXPERIENCE GIVEN AND EVERY JOB REQUIRES EXPERIENCE it's unfortunately a waste of money when these courses can be taught online and get mentored which gives you experience ! read more

What a great resource to help land some big $$ jobs. Follow these guys advice as they train you to prepare for the best jobs. I get job leads from them everyday as a result of my certifications and big name employers tend to recruit from here. Need some cash to get started? They can start you with no money down and like $100/month- they use a third party to help with financing. My advice is to go to their website and apply for grants and scholarships (no strings attached). What you can't get covered, the school can lend the balance at low interest rates. (I have decent credit, but I think they lend to people with bad credit too) There are quite a few veterans and unemployed career transition people enrolled. The most amazing aspect of this type of training school is that they are also a repair shop. As such, the opportunity to directly *test* theory more immediately is a reality. I'm currently enrolled in Dwayne Walker's class for Computer Repair/A+. Each student was assigned to "bring in a relatives computer who's killed theirs the most" (ie: viruses, motherboard frying, cat pee, and the like) Then, just as would happen in a real world setting, our Beginner/Intermediate class was given the opportunity to fix them as they rolled in under his and his (frequently returning/haunting) Advanced students' almost 1:1 guidance. Highly recommended... stinks student loan monsters don't recognize the viability of this training school. PC Professor Computer Training & Repair - Vocational & Technical School Near Me - Boca Raton, Florida

DO NOT waste your money or the government's money on PC Professor. I took a MSCE course there; and, I did not get my money's work. When I complained, the owner did everything to avoid responsibility. He first tried to throw the instructor under the bus; then, he tried to throw the director of education under the bus. The buck stops at your desk, I told him. The first time I took the class, we had 4-5 instructors, of which one I am amazed to this day that he ever got his credentials to teach the class. He was a hardware guy! The only good instructor was so displeased with the way in which PC Professor was run, he quit after 1 month; because, he didn't want his good name and reputation associated with the place. The second time I took the course [which was supposed to be free,] they charged me approximately $1300 to take the course claiming that the books were new and there was a new remote lab feature that took advantage of Microsoft Azure. There were 4 sections to the course for SQL Server 2016. The first was just an introductory section; the second through fourth was where the meat of the course was. My class was through the first section [called MTA] and into the first regular session of the course, 20761. We finished it, and moved onto the second section, 20762. Lo and behold, a new group of students came into the class at that time, most of whom had no SQL experience. They had only taken the MTA, introductory section but not the 20761 section. The instructor made the best he could of a bad situation, took a month+ and quickly reviewed 20761 for the new students. As a result, we lost a month+ of time. After the instructor finished the review for the new students, many of whom had dropped out of the class by that time; he proceded to race through the remaining modules of 20762 and 20767, the third section of the course. Why you might ask? No one would tell us for sure; but, Palm Beach county got a government grant; and, a lot of new students were coming to the school this spring. Our instructor had to finish our MCSE Data Management and Analysis course; so, he could be ready to teach the new students about to attend. I complained to Career Source Broward about PC Professor the first time I took the class. There answer was simply: They have a good placement rate. Sure, for entry level jobs! In the class I'm in now, there are a lot of senior people who have data base experience on other platforms. None of us are going to be looking for entry level positions. We got screwed. The government is getting screwed. I will never recommend nor will I ever take a class at PC Professor again. Anyone interested in a Microsoft certification course, look elsewhere in South Florida for training; or if you don't need an instructor, go to Microsoft on line. Microsoft offers a lot of self-directed courses you can take for a fraction of the cost of the money PC Professor charges for a woefully bad product. Upon coming to Yelp, I noted that PC Professor has 4 1/2 stars. I am willing to bet that those 4 1/2 stars are from people PC Professor paid to post positive reviews. Working with PC professor has been up and down since the moment I met Robert and Dennis. When I first met them I was told a few different stories of how my process was going to go and no promises were held through this entire process. Working with Robert is very hard he tends to try to manipulate you in a smart way and continuously get his point across while invalidating what you are trying to get across. I was told a completely different story than what went down with my financing and Robert is trying to get as much money as he can without actually helping me for a field that I am not currently in. Roberts father told me that they would help me but I was never helped and instead I'm paying for a program in which I know nothing about. I do not recommend the school at all. We have always received outstanding service on our PC's from PC Professor, but when we moved our business to a new location and experienced a major hiccup with our internal server, PC Professor really came through for us. In short, during our move, some of the data on our internal server was corrupted, and the backup drive was also affected. The corrupted data included designs and marketing campaigns we laboriously created for our clients, and would take countless hours to recreate...possible even years.
