At the store, the tech greeted me, told me he would have the computer fixed the following day. Which is exactly what he did do. I cold called PalmTech in desperete need of immediate help. Ivy took down all my info and promised to pass it along to a tech to see if they could help but also told me they didn't usually do residential work. I never heard from PalmTech again, but I did get a call from an affiliate of theirs named Praetas Technologies and within 4 hours of my call they sent a tech. Two hours later Preatas solved my problems at a very reasonable cost. It isn't often that a company, with no financial interest in the outcome, solves a problem for someone they have never worked for.
