Sadly pictures do not do his work justice, our neighbors tree casts a large shadow on our images, but the difference is staggering in person. There were water stains on our 15 year old driveway that I thought were something I'd just have to embrace with an older home. However, Tyrone made our driveway and walkways look like new...maybe better since I don't remember them ever being this white. Truly a hard and thoughtful worker, I highly recommend him! He kept us informed all along the process, telling us exactly when he was going to arrive and being punctual (something I never experienced on a job we didn't need to be home for, but greatly appreciated). Not only did Dan Human leave our pool deck looking nothing like the sample he gave us due to improper preparation of the product and not following manufactures instructions. He cheated us out of a second coat by but says he "added more on the fist coat". This is not consistent with the lack of coverage all throughout the job. The base material was mixed incorrectly leaving the finished product pitting and cracking after just days. When Dan realized he ordered the wrong caulking he decided to apply it anyway and just "paint" over it causing the product to bubble, pop and remain sticky. With all the issues the final product was too rough to walk on. Due to not protecting our landscaping rocks we were left with product sprayed and dripped everywhere. not to mention the drips on our pool and liner. When Dan was asked to give us a letter of responsibility and clear summery of what he planned to fix and how he planned to do it, he failed to give us such letter. Dans overall verbal explanation of what would be done and when changed from day to day. He looked to only "fix" the really bad spot and leave the bad ones. It became very clear that Dan was unable to give us the product he sold us and assured us he could do. Dan offered us $1100 to cover the absolute mess he left us which was not even 1/3 of what it will cost us to complete the job. Note that Dan was sure to post pictures of our pool from a distance for advertisement and each time I leave a message that this job was left a mess he just "deletes" the comments and leaves the advertisement photos. There is nothing professional about Dan Human. You can see how poorly New Day protected our pool and landscaping and the huge difference between the sample and what we were left with. The pitting product and lack of coverage was just the bonus Dan left us with. DO NOT LET THIS COMPANY LEAVE YOUR POOL LIKE THIS.

When I wanted to do several renovations on my home, I interviewed with at least 4 different contractors and consultants. UNQ design was the only one that came prepared with a full presentation and ideas. They took the time to really listen to my concerns and was very honest about possible limitations and extra costs. Plus, they have impeccable taste and professionalism. Through all the stages of the process they communicated, sent pictures and videos and was always present during the construction. Most importantly they were able to stay on schedule. Lastly, UNQ didn't go one cent over the budget. The end result is a beautiful kitchen that I absolutely LOVE! My only regret is not hiring them to do ALL the construction on my home.

On 7/2/2018 I hired Unique Design and Renovations to install engineered wood floors in my 4…read morebedroom, 1,400 sq. ft. split foyer home. The cost of the flooring was $16,933.93. Unique Design owner, Carlos Gonzales, recommended a flooring he said had a 25 year warranty and was water resistant. I never received this warranty in writing. He finished the job on 8/23/2018. On 10/22/2018, I discovered bubbled, chipped and cracked flooring had been installed in my home. I contacted Carlos immediately and sent him pictures of the defect. He said he would come out to look at it. He did not inspected the floors until 12/17/2018. At that time he stated the newly installed flooring was defective and agreed to replace them. I continued to find more defective boards and notify Carlos. I received a text from Carlos on 1/22/2019 stating he would be "bring a crew" to replace the flooring in the kitchen and dining area on 1/28/2019. I reminded him about the other areas and he asked me to send him pictures. I sent him approximately 15 pictures of the defective boards that had be installed in every room of my home. He did not replace the flooring on 1/28/2019, instead he inspected the flooring again. He said he would get back to me with a start date. He said the distributor of the flooring had given him 5 boxes of flooring, but he would need more. On 2/7/2019 he came to my home with his installers to plan the replacement and promised to call me with an install date. I didn't hear from him again until 2/19/2019 when he texted me that he was now trying to get the "flooring company to cover under warranty." On 3/6/2019 he texted me that he was finishing a project and "waiting on the last batch of flooring. It hasn't been easy to get them. I will call you soon." I contacted Carlos on 4/6/2019 to find out when he planned on starting the job, he said he would start the replacement on 4/25/2019. On 4/11/2019 I contacted Carlos regarding the replacement and he said he was waiting to hear from the flooring company. On 4/16/2019 he told me I needed to call the flooring company. I did and they told me they only dealt with contractors. I have bi-lateral hip dysplasia and have limited mobility. During this time I was dealing with serious health issues and I was scheduled to have surgery in May. I tried on several occasions to express the urgency of having the replacement expedited before my surgery. On 4/24/2019, 2 representatives from First Atlanta Flooring came out to inspect the floors. On 5/22/2019 and 5/23/2019 I texted Carlos regarding the replacement of the flooring. On 5/24/2019, I received an email from Carlos offering to charge me to replace the defective flooring. On 5/30/2019 I received an email from the flooring company stating that the manufacture in China would not take responsibility for any defects. They claimed that the flooring had received water damage from maintenance. Even though the product is sold as water resistant. Carlos had installed flooring with bubbles and other defects, and it had begun to degrade within 2 months. I am an empty nester with limited mobility, I move from my bedroom to my kitchen. At this time, the floors have not been replaced and I have not received a refund. The floors continues to peel and chip throughout my home.
