They have various payment plans available - we pay a fixed amount per month which covers all of Sadie's visits and prescriptions and considering how much of a Calamity Jane she is, it has been well worth it. The veterinary nurses are always so cheerful and helpful when you phone - if you're not sure whether or not an appointment is necessary, they are always happy to pop an appointment in at short notice. They are open from Monday - Friday: 9-12pm, 4-7pm Saturday: 9-11am. Saturday appointments are like gold dust. The vets are amazing and clearly adore the animals that come through their doors. Sadie loves the fuss that is always made over her (until something pointy appears that is). This veterinary clinic is the best that I've experienced - everything in plain english, they don't condescend to you, and nothing is too small. The headquarters in the West End also offers puppy training classes which we made use of - it was invaluable .. not just for training, but also socialising with other dogs. Lastly, they offer a boarding service for small animals (guinea pigs etc.) One of my friends used them for boarding and was really impressed with them.

I…read morerecommend this Vets to anyone, the owner Doranne Ashley is the main vet and surgeon, and this lady knows her stuff. She is so very kind to the animals, even when they do not want to be her friend, and a bonus she is very understanding with silly pet owners like me. As you would enter Ashley's you may be greeted by vet nurse Kim who is excellent at her job, where she meticulously goes about the filling your complimentary lifetime vet history card to fill in on every visit. They will always remember you here and your pet by name which is really quite rare in this day and age even at a vet centre. They are ever so friendly, and will squeeze you in and stay late if you are really in trouble with your most precious pet. Ashley's is the best place you could ever take a four legged member of the family for first class treatment from start to finish. A little point of advice, try not to make your appointment at rush hour because roads on to this vets can get very busy around that time. Do not let this put you off, it is worth the wait and the travel time just for that piece of mind.

We arrived early and were taken in early, so the wee chap was glad to get out of his carrier. The girl on reception was really friendly, so our first impressions were great. The vet we seen, Susan, was really lovely. She weighed him, checked him all over, asked lots of questions about his behaviour, age etc and seemed genuinely interested in his well-being. She gave us free worming and flea treatments, which is fantastic and got him booked in for his first vaccination. Was given an appointment card too, which is handy for someone as forgetful as me. She was very patient with Stimpy's running around, trying to jump off the table and squirming. She also gave us advice on how much cover we should make sure we have, insurance-wise. They have a selection of pet things in a glass cabinet at the reception, didn't pay much attention to the prices, will have a look next time. There were collars, cat litter, sprays etc. The surgery is super clean and bright. Can't say I'm looking forward to putting Stimpy back in his carrier and watching him get a vaccination, but knowing that this is such a great surgery and that Susan is such a caring person really helps. The poor old feline has since passed away, but we are back at Hyndland again with two kittens we welcomed into our home last week. The kittens are both boys and they were in today for that dreaded surgical procedure...you know the one! To cut a long story short (sorry, horrible pun), everything went really well and the staff at the clinic kept in touch with us throughout the day about how they were getting on and when we would be able to come pick them up. When we did get them early this evening, they looked fine, if a bit dazed, and I felt like they had been well looked after all day long. It's not the easiest procedure for a couple of kitties to endure, but at least they had it done at a good place. The clinic is very busy and always well-staffed. It would be nice to see one dedicated vet each time we visit, but I realise that's just not possible in such a popular clinic. Regardless, we have consistently been pleased with the care our furry friends receive, and the rates for normal procedures are quite reasonable. I'm happy to know that our kittens have a reliable place to go for their vet services and I'd recommend them to anyone in the area. There are other vets closer to where we live, but we travel the extra distance to the Hyndland Surgery because of the excellent care they give.

I have to travel but always thought it was worth it. Today I called to arrange my annual checkup for my lizard on a Saturday and I was told as a rule, they no longer see exotic pets on a Saturday. Very strange for a vets who advertise to have "a particular interest and experience in treating exotic species" When I explained to the receptionist I cannot make the latest appointment of 5.15pm on weekdays, she simply told me I should find another vetinery clinic! I've been here several times, once in a desperate attempt to save my distraught younger sister's hamster from dying and more recently, when my mum's wee cat had to get his jags. The staff are always incredibly cheerful and friendly and have great conversation with not only the pet owners bus the pets themselves, in their baby talking coos. I particularly enjoy the waiting room, where otherwise bashful locals can strike up conversations with the aid of the antics of their mutts or moggies.

We waited for a few minutes before being called into a clinical room by a vet, she told us the pup was dead. The vet also told us that the other 2 pups looked fine. Within 15 mins we had arrived and left the Vets Now and paid £220 to be told what we already new. Worse was to follow, in the space of a few hours after arriving home another pup died, after we were told it was okay Both of us were devasted by these loses and poor Brodie looked a wrecked and depressed and she had lossed her pups so quickly. But the vets where happy as they got their £220, for doing what Do these vets have any Empathy at all, I undestand a busines is a business but this is a shocking case of out and out greed Mr Robert A Innes

I have been a few times, and everytime there seems to be some sort of celebration of animal sorts, or free something or other. Its great to see a vet centre that is just a bit different and a bit more interesting than the rest. I like it here, my dog isn't so sure but thats nothing out of the ordinary, in the sigt of any vet he will collapse on the floor and refuse to move. Fortunately Pets'n'vets know exactly what to do to entice him in and make the whole process as comfortable as possible. I can even go here on Sunday!! Which is perfect for me with such a tight schedule. I have never known another vets that is open on a sunday, so thank you pets'n'vets.
