My "finished"…read moreasphalt driveway is about 4-5 inches lower than the yard and as much as 6 inches from the yard in width. My old asphalt drive was even with the yard. My neighbors' drive is also below their original & I told Lovett I wanted to avoid it. They said they would try but sometimes it wasn't possible. Never explained why. Workers moved a bunch of stuff around in my garage so they could drive equipment in it but never bothered to return to the things to the original locations. Now, when I was young and had two intact knees I could carry a couple bags of salt from my truck, down the basement stairs, to the water softener. Times five or six. Those days are over. Farm N Garden delivers as many bags of salt as we want to the basement and loads up the machine. Delivery is free. I wasn't sure if the company was still making the material. I spoke w a woman named Lexi. She said she would get back w me. I called again with the square footage of my room and left the information with the woman who answered the phone. I didn't hear back that week and called again on October 23. I was told that the info was in Lexi's email and that Lexi was "on a well deserved vacation" and was off for her sons birthday. I asked when I should call back. The woman told me "like I said Monday the 31st" (FYI..she never said a date. Just said she was off). I called yesterday, November 3, giving Lexi some time to catch up after her vacation. She answered the phone and asked what I needed. So I went through the whole story. She told me she left me a voicemail (if she did, she left it on wrong number, I have no history of a missed call or of a voicemail from her). She told me the material is discontinued. I asked for the name of my product. She didn't want to look it up. But finally did. And I asked her for the company's phone number (I figured they might know where else I could get something like this or mill it for me...because she suggested they may), she said "you can Google it". I said, no, you can give it to me....she hung up on me. I did call back to talk to a manager and was sent to their normal voicemail. It was approximately 8k worth of hard wood that apparently she didn't want to sell me for some reason. I called the manufacturer and was told that in fact this was not discontinued, they re-mill it all of the time and that they have 8,000 square feet in their warehouse. I called 2 other vendors to check prices and "miracle" they found it and quoted me on the phone right then. So run away from this place. Do not use them.
