Mine a sandbox and my neighbor's a dirt mound. We haven't been able to get a hold of Will for 2 weeks now. We have tried phone calls, emails, Facebook messages (of which we know were seen) all several times with zero responses. The last correspondence he sent informed us he was dealing with an overwhelming situation and he sent his "assurance" he would finish the job "as soon as he is able." There was also damage done to my house siding and existing concrete slab by his workers that has not been repaired. We're trying to figure out how to talk with him so we can sort out the $2750 dollars (50% of total) my neighbor and I collectively deposited for the work that was supposed to be done. I'm not a difficult person, and I'd love to be able to have a conversation with him to figure out a solution as he may be dealing with something tough. However, when someone takes almost $3,000 and refuses to make contact with you for two weeks while your yard is in shambles, I'm not sure what to think. I wouldn't recommend working with this company as of this time. As I said at the beginning of this review, I hope I can come back and change it informing people the company contacted me and worked everything out.

I spent a long time thinking about whether to post this review before doing so, and I only decided to share it after careful consideration: Beware of Aaron Simpson with Exterior Element Property Services LLC. Our pond project was left unfinished after weeks of delays, missed appointments, and poor communication. We paid a deposit, but after failing to complete the work, Aaron refused to return it. We were repeatedly told that the pond needed weeks before work could continue. After consulting other pond professionals, we were informed that this type of pond cleaning is typically a 1-2 day project and did not require the lengthy delays we were told were necessary. Instead of improving the pond, its condition worsened significantly, with excessive algae growth and green water. Bucket of stagnant, foul-smelling water were left on our property for nearly a month. Aaron later trespassed onto our property to retrieve equipment without scheduling a pickup date or time in advance. When he was unable to locate some of his items, he blamed us for missing equipment without providing a list of what was allegedly missing. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage homeowners to obtain multiple opinions, verify timelines, and get all agreements and expectations in writing before hiring.

We were going to have him paint them, but he suggested we get new ones, as they were on sale at Menards at the time, and would be less expensive then to paint. They are beautiful now. Next, he painted our pole barn metal roof. He helped us pick out the right type of paint, got it for us and stuck to the price he quoted, even though he did a lot of prep work that I don't think was figured in the quote. Also put a window in the door and painted it and refurbished the door handle. Then as a little side job, he fixed some siding on the house and also an exhaust fan in our bathroom. But the best thing was he showed up when he said he would and kept us informed every step of the way. Always calling us to keep in touch when he was on his way, or making sure he was coming the next day and what time. We really appreciated that. On top of that, he was just a very friendly nice guy. Always saying, if you need anything, or anything I can do, "just give me a call." I would recommend him for any kind of handyman project. I know I will definitely use him again.
