We gave him a deposit ($1150) to install the fence in Oct 2019 and the fence was never installed and we never got our deposit back. He apologized and said he suffered a concussion and that's was why he wasn't able to complete the work, which was completely understandable. He came back to pressure wash the deck and then we never heard back from him. It was just a very expensive deck cleaning! I would be very careful about providing a deposit as you may lose it.
