All I can say is Animal Angels is simply wonderful on one of the worst days you'll ever have. From the very first email interaction they were kind and understanding and when Dr. Jenn arrived that morning she was so incredibly compassionate and took time to explain what would happen and gave me all the time I needed in those final moments. I've done this at a vets office before and there is absolutely no comparison. To be at home with your fur baby and not having to take that final car ride where you come back without them, it's so so so incredibly worth it. I can't recommend Animal Angels enough. 15/10.

Dr. Moser performed the procedure the next day and I couldn't have asked for a better outcome. She was so kind, caring, understanding, and accommodating--she made the whole process as smooth as possible. Everything was so meaningful and special. I figured they'd take him out in a box but she had a beautifully-decorated basket and even the backseat of the car had his name on a little chalkboard. I suggest if you have the means, you should euthanize your pet at home. Losing Ziggy came with unimaginable pain, but Animal Angels helped put us at ease after the sometimes cold and harsh vet hospitals. We appreciate you so much!!!

Before we could have our first visit our dog had some issues that we could not understand and called into the office. They got us in that day and as it turned out we had to make the most difficult decision a pet owner can make. I cannot tell you how much Dr Norm and Darrian made the final moments with our girl as special as they could be. From the decor and furnishings of the office we were in to their thoroughness and tender care of the exam to the gentleness of the final moments, we could not have been more cared for, it was like they had known us and Seminole since birth rather than just meeting us that day. If you are in need of a vet and staff that truly care for your furry loved ones and for you, please look no further than this office. You will be glad that you did.

If your pet requires this type of treatment, I strongly advise you to seek care elsewhere. My beloved pet, was recommended intravenous chemotherapy to help slow the recurrence. During our consultation, Dr. Norm did not mention that the chemo would also affect her red blood cells and platelets , leading to internal bleeding and severe diarrhea and dehydration that even with intravenous fluids, my fur baby wouldn't recover. after going to an emergency vet during our follow-up call with dr. Norms westside clinic, to inform them of her condition, we were informed that, even if we had experienced issues while close by, they were not equipped to treat them with blood or plasma transfusions. If the clinic can't support the fur babies for any and all WELL KNOWN side effects, then the medication they were administering should not be able to be administered at this facility.

Parkway was a community based service for low income folks but IMO that has changed to a corporate based mentality. I personally know of a vet tech who left this practice exactly for this reason. My personal experience with Parkway since the hurricane is I brought in one of my dogs for a left ear exam in 2019 and somehow the vet injured his left eye requiring two surgeries, twice weekly visited to the vet for many weeks and a slew of meds. Not to mention the suffering the dog went through. Parkway said they would pay for everything related to the eye injury but I ended up having repeatedly to pay for visits and meds and fight them over the charges having to remind them over and over that it was their vet who injured my dogs eye. ( No communication between staff). I was even told by a employee that I had to pay for the meds since it was illegal for them to not charge for them and this was after they had previously given me the prescribed med for at no cost, so the employee either lied to my face or she is just ignorant. She was real nasty about it too. Today 8/10/2020 I went to Parkway for my other dog who has a enlarged heart and requires heart meds for the rest of her life They have been prescribing these same meds for almost a year and a half. They did not have one of the meds, Vetmedin, so I was given a script to fill at a pharmacy. Unfortunately the script was only 14 day supply and not the usual 30 day supply of her critical heart meds. I called Parkway up and explained the issue with the 14 day supply on the script. The employee told me that's all they had on hand. I took deep a breath and reexplain I do not have not a vial of pills I only have a paper scrip for the meds no pills and the script was only a 14 day supply. She ask me to hold and after a few minutes told me that I could drive back over in a day or so when their supply of Vetmedin arrives. I declined and said I'd just order it on line, they said they would approve it. We'll see how that goes. Also when they brought out my little 20 lb dog out from the visit today I picked her up to put her in the car and her feet and belly were soaked (dripping) in urine which got all over my hands, arms and shirt. Just disgusting. Thank you Parkway for that. I will not be using or recommending Parkway after this, and I've highly recommended them to many people there over the years. The staff use to be friendly but now the employees seem stressed out likely due to poor management and high turn over of staff, IMO. There are plenty of veterinarians out there so chose wisely. I wish I had, now my one dog is blind in his left eye from just straight up incompetence and has to suffer that for the rest of his life. IMO.

The vet said…read morethat he could come back today and have the surgery to remove them so I had him there as soon as the doors opened at 9am, they advised me that after surgery they wanted him to stay over night for observation and that I could pick him up Friday. At 4:00 today I called to see how he was doing and the lady at the front desk told me that he was actually next up for the procedure. Around 5:30 I was passing by the hospital and decided to stop in to see how he was and if I could maybe see him. The lady at the front desk told me he was resting and I was relieved and asked how it all went.... that's when she told me that they hadn't done him yet and that they would do the surgery tomorrow...My concern is that no one called or planned on telling me that my dogs surgery wasn't happening today and he was just going to stay in a kennel all day and night.... I asked if I could take him home to sleep and just bring him back and they said yes. When they brought me my dog out he was COVERED in dried up diarrhea and had blood on his face with a scratch.... I expect to always get my pet back the way I brought him in.... no one touched my dog all day... he sat in his kennel covered in diarrhea and then the staff didn't even bother to bathe him before giving him back to me. I'm so upset and disappointed in this place. My dog will not be going back for surgery there and will go somewhere else. They were also supposed to vaccinate him today and never did even though they had from 9-5:30.....

But you may as well go to Vegas with your luck. It is only a matter of time". I said I have been a dog owner my entire life, and I've NEVER had fleas on my dog bc what I do works. My dog has seizures and I limit the amount of chemicals I put in her. We treat our outside environment. Furthermore, he wanted to run additionally in my opinion unnecessary labs (for another upcharge, of course). My dog was not even ill. It was a 6 month well checkup. We will never go back due to the condescending way he spoke to us. It is a shame. Dr. Fountain was the BEST caring vet who truly was motivated by passion for the animals. She cared for our whole fur-family, by providing care specialized to each individual animal, providing a holistic approach, she listened to our specific concerns, especially regarding our senior dogs, not just what kind of labs and tests can we charge for. We never minded paying what she charged bc she truly considered the individual needs of each fur baby. Dr. Fountain was not motivated by only money, which unfortunately feels like the attitude that is evident in the new owner.
