And here at Southridge Mall, O Chi has been a lifesaver recently, and I've gotten a chair and a table massage on short notice. (There's no reservations here, you just show up!). I really liked my chair massage, and recently went 40 minutes on the table with a 10 minute foot massager added on. It was an intensely deep back shoulder massage that kind of made me sore for two days! Hey, that's fine, but man oh man it was nuts. 10 minute foot was plenty and seriously it was a lifesaver. Once I laid down on the table, she popped my back within five seconds. I have never had any masseuse do this. She really focused on areas of my back that were tense. Furthermore, she asked me a few times if the pressure was good, which I really appreciate! After the 45 minute session, I asked if we could increase it by 15 more minutes because I had fallen asleep! It was amazing! She stretched my legs and arms! After the session was over, she gave me a water bottle! She also explained to me how I can stretch my back at home and what I can do to relieve mild tension. I really appreciated her time and expertise! Lily could tell I traveled for work and called out multiple areas that needed attention. She incorporated hot stone and stretching where applicable. One person behind the desk had a mask and the other didn't. The two massage therapists I saw that afternoon (including mine) both had masks on. You sign in and complete documentation before going back. My massage therapist asked a couple of questions and covered some points on the paperwork which helped me understand their process better. I've been to quite a few places before, but this was pretty nice. Music not too loud, my therapist was not chatty (super appreciate), and it was a comfortable atmosphere. They then moved her to West Allis, I would prefer they bring on more deep pressure trained therapists to provide more options.
