There was trouble with the air in the boots and jeans dept. I got so sick I took my break and sat in my car to get cool. When I went back in Shelia, who tells she is a manager (she is not) said she was suppose to take her lunch then and reported me to a manager, even though I had been made assistant manager in my dept. So I was fired because she was tired of me doing what I wanted.?? She comes in at 7am and saves her lunch till 2pm and off at 4. After that they had the guys in the grain dept. watching the workers in boots and jeans. Getting away from there was the best thing I could have done.

I needed a starter solenoid for my zero turn mower. I wanted an OEM solenoid. My mower is old but…read moreI have kept it well maintained. Since my mower is old, finding parts can be very difficult, especially OEM parts. I did numerous searches on line and came across Safford. Safford showed just what I was looking for, or so I thought. Due to the age of my mower, the new solenoids are designed slightly different which I was aware of. Two of the electrical connections are different and require an adapter, which once again I knew. Safford had a picture of the solenoid I wanted with the adapters attached. I thought I was in good shape....until the solenoid arrived! The solenoid was missing the two adapters which are small spade quick disconnects. Looking at them you would think it's no big deal. You would be wrong. I live in the Louiville KY suburbs, a fairly big city. NOBODY stocks these adapters. I checked hardware stores, several different auto parts stores, and even Tractor Supply. One auto parts store offered to order them, but they would have been $4 each and he wasn't sure how long it would take to get them. So unfortunately I had to turn once again to Mr.Bezos and Amazon. Being Amazon, I had to order 50 while only needing two, but they are supposed to be delivered tomorrow. So basically the solenoid cost me another $10.

Using Google search and some other sites I came across Stafford Equipment where they were literally $100 less than all the other guys. I called them to check them out to ensure they were not a scam site where a friendly gentleman with a nice southern drawl assured me they were a valid site and get a number of phones calls like mine asking the same question. Based on this discussion, the price for the blower, Google reviews and the sites that report scams I felt comfortable enough to proceed with the order. Long and the short of it was a great shopping experience. They have a good website for placing the orders and do an excellent job on communicating order status and up to date shipping status communication. Even accounting for their shipping rates, which are very reasonable, it was the lowest cost purchase I could make on this item, that saved me a nice chunk of change where blower arrived in great shape and no damage whatsoever to the packaging. A very positive experience. Based on my experience I have no qualms in recommending Safford and would caution on the few negative reviews on this company in YELP where the reviews are all by folks who have only written 2 or 3 reviews and probably all negative. Other YELPERS who are regular users on the site notice this stuff where we take it with a grain of salt. A good measure on this company are its google reviews that number over a thousand with an average rating of 4.8. Hopefully this gives you a degree of comfort in dealing with these guys as it did with me.
