I've tried a lot of petsitting options and Peak City Puppy offers the best service and the best value by FAR. Other companies have fine print that looks like a drug company disclaimer and covers a bunch of extra fees for pretty much everything that you want after the sitter comes through the door. NOT AT PEAK CITY! You know what you have ordered and exactly how much it will cost before you even sign up for service and the charges are more reasonable than I've found with any other company. The owners made a home visit to cover all of this info, and then the actual sitter came over for a meet & greet a few days before our reservation. We have a regular family dog, a rambunctious foster dog, and a special needs cat. They didn't charge extra for the cat's injections, spent extra time making sure that the foster dog was played out, and added extra loving for our dog. They also didn't charge me a penny for the additional three cats and fishtank that were all on autofeeders. Other services charged up to $10 a day for these pets being present, regardless of the fact that they weren't being serviced. NOT AT PEAK CITY! If you want the best service at the best value, then Peak City Puppy is right for you. read more

My dog gets mid-day walks from Peak City Puppy and I'm satisfied with their service. I switched from a previous company because I saw a coupon for Peak City and their prices were slightly lower, but I'd say their biggest draw is that they don't charge for cancellations, which is really convenient. And I'm happy with the attention my pooch gets. The only thing that stops me from giving 5 stars is that for a while their billing system was a bit confusing, I didn't always get a bill in a timely fashion, and I found it hard to keep track of the charges and almost got overcharged once when I was sent the wrong bill. The billing system has changed and is as straightforward as what I was used to with a previous company but the per-walk cost has now increased a tiny bit from what it was when we signed up. Having recently relocated to the area, and being unable to find a dog daycare at all similar to the one our two Basset Hounds attended in our previous city, we were quite worried that we were up a bit of a creek as far as the daycare was concerned. Enter Peak City Puppy!! So happy that we found them. Franklin and Mabel love their walks, and Peak City was even super understanding when our AC went out in our home and we had to keep canceling and moving our schedule around on them for a week, to accommodate the repair guys. First arrangement was smooth. The second arrangement I gave my dates over the phone a month and half out. I was told I would receive a callback to run through the details and to confirm dates. I was then told I needed to connect with the sitter and meet her face to face before the trip which was no problem. We didn't have time to do this during the first arrangement due to a family emergency. After leaving two vm and sending in a couple emails, the next email chain consisted of confirming the dates I needed. These were already provided over the phone. A few days before our trip, I receive an email that states they are too busy and cannot take on the request. Now I have no time to find a dog sitter when I clearly reached out ample times and was led to believe I was good to go. The email stated they were holding off on telling me in hopes to get an available team member. If you cannot do business with someone, just say no ASAP! I literally have three days to find a sitter. We have no friends or family here because we are new from out of state. Our trip is non refundable. Needless to say I will not reach back out. Thanks for leaving us super stressed right before vacation! After posting this review online the company lied and stated it was due to us leaving a key only the first time and the condition of the home? We have regular maid services that come here and we did simply leave a key on the first go around which you assured us was no problem since we had to leave town last minute due to a family emergency. If we knew we would be punished for this route, we wouldn't have done it. Due to great reviews and we considered this is a professional business, we felt comfortable doing so. It seems to me, the owner or management would have came out to inspect the home if there was concern. We were happy to meet the team and use you continuously moving forward. Oh well. I have been using Peak City for several months now and they are great! My dog was very sick as a puppy and the first few days they were awesome about texting me updates just to let me know he was okay. It was very comforting and let me be able to work a full day without having to drive back home and check on him. Now that he's feeling better they leave me notes everyday to let me know what they were up to, as such a young pup he needs that time to run out some energy that I can not provide while working full time and going to school. Our golden retriever requires pet sitting several times a year when our family travels. Peak City Puppy is always there when we need them. They feed and walk her several times a day, manage our alarm system just fine and our girl seems content and happy when we get home. Recently we asked them to provide service at my Mom's house. I wish I could like it 10 stars worth. I don't really review things but Peak City Puppy has been amazing. Mary and Nancy are beyond wonderful and Lesley White (the owner) is terrific. They're kind and thoughtful; leaving notes or sending texts on walking days. If something comes up with my schedule, the on-call folks respond really quickly. My rescue beagle is...the best. That said, she has a ton of energy (and needs a good amount of exercise). As she recovered from heartworm and needed more exercise, I grew really concerned that I would need to re-home her to a family more able to meet her needs. Peak City Puppy saved me from that really terrifying possibility. Mary and Nancy help me make sure my girl is getting the exercise she needs even though I work long days. Prior to our first visit, they stopped by to go over the questionnaire, meet the ladies, and get a general idea of where we kept the food and what our routine was.
