We had so much fun (humans and dog alike) during the session itself and it was especially great to see how quickly our dog warmed up to Allison. With an older dog, we weren't sure if he would should the enthusiasm outdoors with a stranger but Allison really naturally brought out his playful nature. I initially reached out to…read moreTerran way back in September of 2022 (!!!) to schedule a photo shoot with my shepsky pup, Summer. We had several setbacks that derailed our plans - weather reschedules, health issues with my family, and not being able to take vacation from work - and Terran rolled with the punches every time. We finally ended up having our session yesterday and it went better than I could've ever imagined!!! I chose the Outdoor Adventure for our shoot and it was truly incredible. Terran and Greg were completely focused on me and Summer throughout the shoot. Greg in particular did an amazing job assisting! Summer can get really excited and start pulling when she sees another dog she wants to play with - yet Greg was able to keep her contained and focused on our shoot. He displayed an amazing level of focus, patience, and attention to detail when bringing Summer in and out of shots, re-setting as needed to turn her the right way/have her positioned properly. While Greg showed expert levels of dog handling skills, Terran worked her magic behind the lens, giving me and Summer micro-movements to do to get the perfect shot. I let Terran know ahead of time that I tend to feel really awkward/stiff in photos and she kept an eye on all the little things that I tend to do naturally, like slouching, positioning my head the wrong way, etc. She called out little suggestions to have me not look awkward, like repositioning my legs, moving my arms, and standing up straight. Terran expertly managed to direct both me AND Summer at the same time! I also have to give huge props to Terran for her ability to spot a perfect photo from a mile away. She would have Summer sit or stand in certain areas that didn't make much sense to me - and then she'd show me the perfectly framed/composed/lighted photo afterward that made it all come together! Terran truly understood Summer's angles, beauty, cuteness, and goofiness, and she set her up for success when capturing those traits. Terran managed to capture Summer's regal presence in some shots AND her silly faces when running/galloping. She really went above and beyond to make the experience magical in every sense of the word. Decided to go with the board and train to ensure she was set for success while away on a trip. I can tell you this place is legit, has the skills, and genuinely cares about their guests. First class service and great communication before/during/after. My puppy came in with minimal training and left a star. Sit, down, stay, leave it, more respect with the cats and my resident dog at home, and way more confidence. They have a family dog, there's kids and other family around, chickens, cats, and more to be exposed to + cuddles galore. I'm very happy with my choice. We'll be back for daycare weekly.

From the phone to drop-off they were excellent at staying in contact and making sure everything we needed was addressed. They kept that same level of communication and dedication during our furry friend's stay, which definitely made me comfortable and secure in leaving my dog there. When we picked up our dog, we were walked through everything that was worked on and were blown away. The progress was undeniable. They will tell you what worked, what didn't, and make sure to work with you to plan for you pet's future needs. 10/10. I can't think of taking any of my puppy or senior dog anywhere else.

Lance was able to capture Simon with his little Superman tag & then manipulate the image so he was in a Gotham City-like setting. Simon's a 22 pound Caryn Terrier with a big dog attitude - it's been difficult to capture his "tough-guy attitude" inside such a cute dog "package". The rich black & white image high-lighting his Super rag in 4 color captured Simon's Superman attitude (he loves chasing coyotes) was ingeniously creative.
