I wish there was a minus 10 for these people. The staff are unprofessional and arrogant and insist on making decisions for the dentist before I ever saw him. This is a complete money-making operation they care nothing for people or patients it is all about money for these people. I wish there was so much more that I could do tell so many people and I have never come across a business like this. Although they were very nice, I am only giving them 2 stars because of a lifelong problem they have caused me. After getting all 4 wisdom teeth removed, I now have half of my tongue numb. The entire left side of my tongue is numb and I have lost taste. When I went to my inital consultation, Dr. Peara was very nice and told me everything I needed to know before the surgery. He told me that some of my wisdom teeth were so close to the nerve that he would NOT take the whole tooth out because he feared that it would damage my nerve and it would leave a tingling sensation on my gums where the tooth used to be. Now looking back, I wish it would have just left a tingling sensation on my gum and not my tongue. The day of surgery, he again assured me that he would be very careful not to come too close to the nerve because it could cause permanent damage to my gums. He never mentioned it could've affected an entire side of my tongue because then I might've changed my mind and not gone through with the surgery. After surgery everything seemed fine. That night I noticed my tongue was still numb and I began to worry. I called the following morning because it was still numb and I asked if it was normal and all the doctor had to say was that he was sorry and that it sometimes happens. He also said it didn't make me disabled and that nobody would even be able to tell, and that I would get used to not feeling it. I was never told something like this would happen though. It's been almost 2 months since the surgery and I haven't got sensation back. At this point I have given up hope. I can only eat with my right side now and I constantly bite my tongue because I can't feel it. The people at this office are nice, which is why I am giving them 2 stars, but I can't help but be upset at what they have caused me. I have waited to write this review because I had hope that I would gain sensation in my tongue again, but I haven't and I want to warn anybody else considering getting their wisdom teeth pulled. Be very careful and do your research on the doctor you choose to go to. read more

I am writing this review about 9 days from having all 4 wisdom teeth removed. All the staff were very professional and helpful and especially Dr. Peara and his wife I believe were especially helpful and did an excellent job at taking care of me. As far as anything negative to say my procedure was more intense than anticipated which happens I understand and this was mentioned to me after but I was told I could eat normal food by day 3 but I am still barely easing into more normal foods going into my 2nd week as well as I took some extra time off of work because my specific surgery was a lot more intense than expected. I experience quite a bit of discomfort in my day to day life still mostly a fatigued jaw and facial muscles but I am finally reaching a point where it isn't very painful to chew. Directly after my surgery I was given about 5 days of antibiotics and some gauze and was told I could come in to receive more gauze if necessary. The best part about Dr. Peara's office is the level of care each patient gets. Through their google profile you can message them even on off hours and everytime I got a response within 5 minutes or so. Each time I messaged them I kinda prodded around to see if I could get a post op checkup to ease my concerns but they just asked for pictures and insisted I did not need a post-op checkup which I am grateful for because they totally could have made a quick buck off of getting me me back in. I can tell now that my healing is normal albeit a little slow due to the intensity of the procedure. They have been excellent along the way. I think my one wish would have been a hair more instruction as to the long term recovery as I didn't quite understand the different stages of recovery and had to google a bit but I understand it much more thoroughly now read more

I wish I could give dr peara 5 stars. He is an excellent dentist...very kind and very compassionate. He has done a lot of work for me over the years. The reason for the 4 stars is the VERY rude receptionist. Not dr peara dayghter...a he is very nice as well...but the other gal. She comes to the window with her mask on and acts very condescending. Downright rude actually. If she doesn't want to work with people maybe she should find another job..... Dr Peara I love you...but this gal is very rude to your patients...or at least she has been very rude to me every time I have had the displeasure of talking to her.... read more

Dr Peara was absolutely amazing with my son. He took his time, explained everything in detail. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with wisdom teeth removal. Healing was quick and easy. Comfortable, clean and affordable office. The office staff went above and beyond calling our dentist to get a copy of our insurance card faxed even. 5 stars. Please don't come here. The dentist is amazing and very caring which may be the reasoning for the good reviews. However, the service given by the receptionist and the "manager" is utterly horrible. I cannot express the feeling of hate they brought upon us for trying to bring the money later. It seems like the dentist cares about the people and his monstrous wife cares for the money. We were not able to take out any money in the bank (probably a sign) so we decided to ask a sibling to bring it. While they were on the way, the receptionist insisted we pay because we would need to pay a fee since the money was late. We were fine with the fee but the receptionist brought the manager insisting we pay now. The manager said she worked with the banks before and said we should've gotten the money. His wife (the "manager") said we would get into big problems of we didnt give them the money first. (A threat practically). Then, once we questioned her saying if thay was a threat she brought the doctor in. She gave him the story that WE threatened her and since shes the wife who's he gonna believe right?? She was also speaking spanish so there was no way for him to know if she was saying the truth. Since the beginning, something was off. My wisdom teeth xray was diagnosed by her and when the doctor tried to talk, she made herself heard more than him. Even when he tried to speak she would take the words from his mouth and even correct him. Just because she thinks of herself as the owner, does not mean she is the person with the accreditation. She is not the doctor. YOU CANNOT DIAGNOSE. Like I said before, dont come here. read more

At first they seemed so kind and offered to let me make payments. But I woke up in the middle of the procedure (wisdom teeth removal) and the dentist was telling his wife he had trouble with one tooth. Not something you want to experience or hear. In the moment the wife was kind and comforting I'll give her that, as I had to sit there awake and experience the last tooth being pulled. My mouth was swollen and bruised for literally a month and they would not call me back. They left a piece of my tooth stuck in the side of my gums. Oh and when I went to make my final payment (several months out) they said I owed them $600 more dollars because insurance didn't cover it after all. I never received a letter or anything it was a surprise to me. They refused to accept my final payment and I got yelled at and told if I couldn't pay it all right then and there they would send it to collections and that it would hurt my credit. Thankfully collections let me make payments and no harm was done to my credit. I meant to write this a few years back when it happened but was recently reminded when a friend almost went there. read more

I had my wisdom teeth out by Dr. Peara a little over a month ago. Upon a scheduling error on my part, the staff was able to get me in the week before I had initially scheduled. Dr. Peara, as well as his staff, were extremely knowledgable which gave me a huge sense of comfort. The healing process seemed short, and for the most part, fairly painless.
