I don't answer text from unknown caller from California. I don't think I'll be going back. It was humiliating and hurtful.

I think it's general practice for kids to go in without mother. Great idea to help kids learn to take care of themselves and talk without moms speaking for them. The dental cost are comparable to any other dentist. The lobby is comfortable and front desks staff have always been friendly. The office is in a strip mall by HEB on FM 306. Although there is not a direct handicap access you can drive up a bit along side the curb drop off your passenger and they can use the sidewalk area that is graded to be even with the street making it accessible for those who need handicap access including motorized wheelchairs .

I wear permanent retainers and the dentist mentioned I had some extra cleaning to do behind my teeth. I paid for the extra cleaning. And asked what can I do to keep the area clean. She said she'd tell me but never did. I asked her other questions that remained unanswered. It felt like she was purposely gatekeeping so I would keep coming back and paying extra for their services. Which aren't cheap by the way. They push for financing here. Dentist mentioned it multiple times. And the location manager did too. The worst part is I came here based on an ad that said free whitenings for life. If you did cleaning and x ray with them. Which I did. But the manager said I had to do their very expensive suggestions first. I told him that's not what they ad said to which he responded "I know. I wish the ad said more". I have a primary dentist. If not for this ad I would not be here. So I'm pretty disappointed in this place. The only reason I paid for the expensive cleaning was because of that ad. I just feel scammed to be honest. And their services cost significantly more than my dentist so I have no reason to come back.

This DDS kept her waiting in the chair for TWO HOURS and when he came in, he said he didn't have time to extract her teeth, then said actually he needed medical clearance from her doctor (did nothing to obtain her dr's contact info), and then proposed a different treatment plan that would cost her $7k after insurance. They couldn't schedule a future appointment for 4+ weeks, so she found another dentist to take out her infected tooth that was becoming an emergency. When she called to get a copy of the x-rays, the office said they wouldn't fulfill the request for 30 days. Two stars (instead of one) because the front office was heroic at helping me entertain my kids for the TWO AND A HALF HOURS we sat waiting for nothing but x-rays and a price quote.

There are so many options on Potranco and more dental offices pop up every 6 months or so as the community continues to grow. Schuchart popped up right at the entrance of my community, Arcadia Ridge. I can literally walk there in 10 mins. I'd seen this dental office on social media and love the aesthetic of the outside. The photos of the inside I've seen was just as impressive. The husband-wife team of dentists are young and family oriented. I knew I'd found my place! GETTING IN: scheduling an appointment was so easy. The gal I spoke to was very professional and friendly and we easily coordinated a date and time for my initial visit. I show up on the day of my visit very excited. Giddy, even. Let's get these teeth in tip-top shape! Check in was simple and I glance around the large waiting area. Portraits of the dentists and their child are framed and mounted on the wall, along with licenses and certificates. I love the ambiance, still smells brand new, lighting is comfortable and every surface is clean. There's what I can only guess is a child's play room, but I'm not 100% sure. THE TEAM: I have to say, the treatment team in back are awesome. Down to earth and really fun, actually. We shared quite a few laughs in conversation. The equipment is state of the art, so easy for my X-ray results and explanation of my dental health to be broken down simply for me on a screen. I required some repair and the doctor patched me up quick. Overall, I am very happy having trusted my gut with this new practice and I'm sure you can guess I can't wait for my next cleaning. I visited in November and was charged upfront because they were unsure if my insurance would cover the services. I happily paid. My insurance did indeed cover the service except the oral exam and the insurance and dentist agreed to a contracted amount. The dentist refuses to honor the contracted amount and only offered a partial refund. Their reasoning is insurance didn't cover it anyways so we are going to charge you the full amount and not the contracted amount we agreed upon with your insurance. Stephanie was combative and said she would call me back for a refund in two weeks. I had to call back multiple times letting them know that insurance has paid them and they owe me a refund yet they only provided a partial. My dental insurance company called them as well to advise they should not be charging the full amount and should be charging the contract amount but they disagreed and refused to refund me. They continued arguing with the insurance as well. At this point my insurance is filing a complaint. This is unfortunate because I really liked the dentist but the fact that I called, my insurance company called, and they do not know how to bill properly is fraudulent. There are so many other great dentist in this area go to don't bother with this place. Look at their google reviews there are others that have complained about the same thing. Look at your explanation of benefits because this dentist is pocketing the money.
