Our wives loved the Moscato called Sweet Freedom -- it was a big hit. The husbands did the premium tasting, and honestly, every wine we tried was excellent. My personal favorites were the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Tempetite -- both were really good. We also shared the triple dip appetizer, and it was delicious. The artichoke dip was our favorite! The servers were awesome -- Debra was super friendly, very knowledgeable, and made the whole experience even better. We'll definitely be back!

This place doesn't grow or use any local grapes. We went on a Saturday...which means the business should be prepared for one of their busiest days. Instead, our young waitress was "in your face" short with us, our service was mediocre and the establishment seemed ill prepared for a crowd. The savory cheese board was ok. However, I had have outstanding cheese/charcuterie boards at nearby wineries for less cost and far better quality. We were there in the afternoon and the very limited parking area was already full. The inside winery area is cramped and small. The outside area is spacious...but, lacks the outdoor fans that we see at many other Texas winery patios. We never leave a winery without a bottle to go...here, we were happy to pay our bill and move onto the next nearby winery without our typical delicious bottle to go.

However, the place filled up fast because it was bingo night. It got so packed with bingo players that service basically disappeared. Our server never came back, and we eventually had to go up to the bar just to get our final tasting. They were definitely understaffed. If you're planning to visit, I'd definitely avoid going on a bingo night unless you like a really crowded atmosphere and bingo. The wine was good, but with it being about an hour and a half drive for us, it's probably not somewhere we'll make the trip back to.

It is quite isolated, so I would recommend downloading your map before arriving, especially for the journey home as there is little to no data service in the area. We initially chose to sit outside with our two dogs, who are service dogs, as we wanted to be considerate of other guests, rather than assuming we should bring our dogs indoors. Unfortunately, it was over 100°F, even in the shade, so we asked if there might be somewhere inside where we could sit where we wouldn't bother other guests. There were only two tables occupied in the entire facilities, with a large separate area indoor completely empty. The server was kind enough to accommodate us in there. We tried two wine flights, eight wines in total. A few were quite good, some were just okay, and one in particular, the Lambrusco, really wasn't to my taste. Very sour compared to the usual taste of it. That said, I'm Italian and probably have a different preference when it comes to wine, so this is very subjective. The food was quite good. I had the chicken salad croissant with a side of soup, and both were enjoyable. The experience took a turn halfway through our meal. One of our dogs barked a couple of times when another dog passed outside. About five minutes later, the owner came directly to our table and, in a manner that felt quite confrontational, questioned us about what services our dogs provided. We answered, but the conversation continued with comments about service dogs being trained not to bark at other dogs. And it all felt very unnecessary and beyond uncomfortable. Considering also that we were one of the three tables occupied in the whole winery. I completely understand that businesses have policies and concerns regarding service animals, and we would have been happy to have a respectful conversation about them. However, the way this interaction was handled left us feeling judged and uncomfortable, and unfortunately it overshadowed what had otherwise been an enjoyable visit. I also found the situation particularly disappointing given that the restaurant was almost completely empty and the temperature outside was well over 100°F. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled left such a sour taste that I know I will not be returning. I'm still giving 3 stars because I try to be fair with my reviews. Aside from this interaction, the property is beautiful, the food was good, our server was accommodating, and there were certainly positive aspects to the visit. It's just unfortunate that one interaction had such a lasting impact on an otherwise decent experience.

When you enter the tasting room, everything is decorated with aviation items. It is super cute inside. Bathroom was clean. Service was great and staff was very friendly. The wine was terrific! We enjoyed tasting dry whites and reds and were extremely happy with all the wine. The reds were especially smooth and delicious. We also walked around outside a little before we left. There are vineyards and a large pond. You are able to get married here and there is another building to use for a reception. Definitely pay them a visit and try their wine. It's worth the drive!
