I found this park a little confusing to get around, but overall a good place for hiking, running, or picnicking.

It is on a small bit of land that overlooks the Maumee River. There is a small parking lot adjacent and a bike and walking path that will lead you to the lighthouse. It is between the Bay View and Detwiler golf courses and if someone is still missing their Callaway golf ball, it's in the parking lot. The outside of the lighthouse is fully accessible but it is not used for navigation and the interior is closed. It is a plain white building and nice to look out but non-functioning so three stars. If you're a "lighthouse collector" as I am https://www.yelp.com/collection/GLWJhPZloUBCLUFSYgLw4g/Lighthouses, then stop by as it is a brief detour from the interstate just north of Toledo heading to Detroit. Otherwise, you can keep on going by. [Round number 18000 overall - 151 in Ohio - 1521 of 2022.]
